At one point I could play lilting melodies on lute. Now they're halting. I really dislike this system as whenever I get skill I lose it.

I'm still really annoyed that they only did lessons much too late for Will to learn. They said they'd make earlier times buuuut they didn't. And now there's noone to teach it. I don't care what format it's in - NPC, player controlled, GM controlled as long as you can actually learn it.
