An occasional message would be good. Maybe after every 10 player messages instead of after every single one. Borgate is just as spammy as the rest of the NPCs if you try to RP while sitting at the bar. I think all the NPC chatter is supposed to be a feature but a feature isn't much good if it drives...

I found the lag severe tonight while cutting gems in Cadomyr. I seemed to be the only one affected and was the only one engaged in crafting with 3 or 4 other players around plus the regular NPCs. It was corrected by logging out and relaunching the client.

I rather like that the crafting tutorial has shifted off of Noobia and is now in the game proper. This gets players into the game faster and allows the characters to keep the free tools and the skills they gain while practicing. I think that's the single best feature of the VBU. I had a similar lag today. There was some movement lag but mostly with the text entry. I had to wait for the text to appear and it was full of double letters. After standing still for a while, the issue seemed to improve. It was definitely worse with movement.

Maybe count the deaths and post them on the high scores list as a hall of shame giving the wrong kind of glory to the faction. This is assuming that the no-RP attacks are being managed. Those are really boring and with larger consequences, the death system becomes an abusable source of entertainment...

If death is going to be given more serious consequences, there has to be more enforcement of RP. I don't mind the no-consequence PK but if I have to live with some consequences for my character, I expect the no-RP attacks to likewise have consequences for those players that just have to do it.

Any Gm can do that. Sure any GM can but none have to. Unless it's a deliberate omission, it would be nice to have the wilderness RP supported at the same level as the town RP. I notice that there are two GMs assigned to each town. I'm wondering why there are none assigned to the wilderness. Is this to actively discourage players from playing non-faction characters? If not and just an oversight, maybe having GMs promoting the wilderness RP would be a good thing.
