I agree with hadrian 100%. But, two questions, one can you prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the elf your banging is above the age of majority WITHOUT breaking the OOC information rule, and two, can you prevent a minor 100% from walking into your whisper space, taking also into account possible l...

Dyluck, does my sprite still look like duo from gundam wing and have his mental breakdown sidestory? If so, your my hero. your my hero anyway, nob...

Theres a difference between playing a game in which people die, and playing a game that makes absolutely no concessions to inappropriate mature content. The biggest difference is, to suceed in the game, you have to kill things, or not, but it could be a big portion of the game, and it is implemented...

Heres a simple argument, Do you think staff wants to see pages and pages of disgusting cyber chat logs if they happen to be looking for a bug? No whisper saves you there. EDIT: also, give a solid argument if you want something. Don't whine. Whining will not give you a priviledge back. Tell me why yo...

Returner stop your trolling around allready and stop wasting space here, if a char is barely allowed to kiss, but on the same time allowed to kill another char than there is seriously something wrong and if it bothers you so much why don't you go rping in an instant messenger, why play a game where...

I think that the 'no cybering' rule was suggested in order to cater for a younger group of people, thereby increasing the playerbase. That's what I think anyway I think its just common courtesy. This is a roleplaying game. Roleplaying between two people for the purpose of making love in a mmorpg do...

Make Illa 18+ and BRING BACK SEX if you want to cyber, do it in aim, where everyone else is a 50 year old man pretending to be a 18 year old woman or a 12 year old boy pretending to be a 18 year old man. MMORPG's are not brothels. Honestly, do you feel a need to cyber between hobbits, elfs, and.......

The gamemaster should prove he/she is a gamemaster before asking for information. This rule could be used by anyone to gain any kind of knowledge if they say I AM A GAMEMASTER YOU HAVE TO GIVE ME _______Estralis Seborian wrote: 2. Gamemaster
If a GM asks you for informations, you cannot refuse to testify.

Seeing a big talk about guitars I couldn't resist to give my two cents. I love guitar! Well crafted guitars also have great action (ie: the strings are as close to the fretboard without bussing) making them easier to play. They are also often so well built that they go out of tune less easily (if y...

It doesnt matter a what guitar you have, it only matters how you execute the playing skills. Mine is greenish yellow atm. If it don't sound good with the amp off, then it don't sound good at all. This is true to an extent, if say you have a practice amp and an Epiphone SG, and a concert level amp w...

if it makes you feel any better, I'm not aloud to use the Fender HOTROD Deluxe, instead my amp is a Fender Champ 30 DSP and a 5w Epiphone mini amp that has such a ridiculously crunchy overdrive I use it at the bandstand in the park so I don't have to pay hydro tax when I perform (9v batteries win) :/

You ruined a good telecaster by putting humbuckers on it. =P I play alot of hard stuff and the EMG produces alot of twang and clean tones while the dime bucker produces some seriously tough sounding noise. Also the 72 Custom comes with dual fender HB's to begin with, its more or less a shortnecked ...

There are many reasons from a developers standpoint why a single language game would be much easier, and definately not catastrophic. First and foremost, it takes resources to translate a game to another language, this can produce delays in development. Secondly a single language audience means ever...

I don't see how the fact that the game is run by Germans (and an odd evil Austrian lurking around here and there) should change anything regarding the treatment of german-speaking in relation to the non-german speaking players. The German players, contrary to what you are insiunating, are just as m...

They can spam, because the moderators are natively german. This means they understand their kind of humour, and can appreciate it more. They see it less as spam, and more as a humorous note in a serious discussion. This is true. Remember that non-native germans are basicly guests to this german mad...

It seems a little extreme to ban for spam..... some people think a post is spam, and others not. Illarion is a top 100 mmo, it wants to retain this status. Some spam might be humorous or even benefit the thread. However most is not. We have a moderated off-topic forum in which draws much spam and i...

seems to me the simplest solution is just to delete the offending posts and it IS possible to add and remove single forum category permisions, you just need to have the motivation to do so :) It could well be alot of work to change the writing permissions to be editable by mods. The forum software ...
