You don't want superpowered characters being used for quests for everyone? Then start making quests. Jesus! If regular players would start making some fucking quests around here, then there wouldn't be a reason to complain anymore, because those pushed characters would not have as useful an applicat...

I think... that some players misunderstand one simple thing: The playerbase is very small for the features we have. Its not possible to find any kind of person you need, when you need it (such as a teacher of some kind). I'm sure that's why some of these characters exist. Sure. There were many alche...

Simply answering it is something the character would do, is not acceptable, because in most cases the character doing that should fear the large group of people killing them, and therefore would not actually do that if they were not invincible. Illarion is about playing a character. If your charact...

God this community complains a lot. @Donal: If they did that, the devs would have yet another thing on their already heaping platter. Otherwise, I could see that as a reasonable idea. @All: I think that the system in place right now is the best way, but perhaps either people need to prove themselves...

Perhaps some of the characters mentioned have a future purpose, or perhaps there's something still missing that they need to really get going. While the world is formed through many leaps and bounds, there are also many miniscule details that may later greatly affect the entire world we know. Just b...

Illarion is like... kindergarten. No matter how shitty you do, you always get a gold star as long as you do it. And everyone should have a fair chance at everything. Blah. I don't believe a single word I just said, but that's the general impression I get from the community's more-than-willing respon...

... I'm not saying the fault is solely the player. I do agree that the price is a bit high, but at the same time players should know that these things should be done in moderation. So, no.. I'm not blaming it all on the players. Find a different point please. Making shoes as an income? Okay. A cobbl...

Gort is right. if you don't put a lock on your door, don't say it's all the robbers fault. can't expect everyone to be perfect. 20 coins is overpriced and it should be fixed. he's not crying over something in the game, but simply saying something is over priced. I never knew about this, and I don't...

*sigh* And once again, someone finds a reason to cry about the game not being realistic enough. There is always going to be an easier way to do something. The harder it is made, the more people look for an easier path. If the game isn't realistic enough, a good idea might be to go out and live life....

You say first that you were the captain of the town under Aleytys. Then you say Rothman acted like nothing had happened. Then you go on to say that he did not listen to the peoples' wishes of a free election. This last statement has nothing to do with the situation. Its simply more slander, regardle...

The only reason Troll's Bane changed from a leaderless land, ruled by its clans and guilds is because of corrupt people seeking to gain power and profit, using the guise of unity amongst the citizens. I have never seen a need for a leader of Troll's Bane, but I doubt at this point that the citizens ...

Regardless of the centrality of the city, Troll's Bane is still just that: A city. It is nothing more. It is not the entire isle. It is not a part of Varshikar, nor Greenbriar, nor Tol Vanima. It is a self-sustained city. Therefore, the issues that take place within it should remain self-sustained, ...

It is time for new blood. Fresh blood. Trustworthy blood. Neither Stephen nor Aleytys seem trustworthy enough for anything. If you do not wish for either, find a new candidate. Vote. We are the masses. It is in our hands to change our home. If you let Rothman or Lamar take that from you, you do not ...

Only the arrogance of a spoiled princess could have written such defiling words in an attempt to confuse the general people to think she is somehow so much more worthy of our trust. You want trust? Be trustworthy. Stop attacking everyone else and show the people your good points. Or is attacking oth...

The archmistress of Gobaith puts her trust in this new leader, whom has appeared with little past history in the town in comparison to the great many other citizens. Why am I not surprised? I, a citizen who actually resides within the town walls of Troll's Bane and likely has far more concern for th...
