In the case of a fire, in a medieval setting people would simply use word of mouth (ie: get help ig). They arent going to leave a note somewhere hoping someone chances upon it. Of course, a short rp message explaining there's a fire does what your saying, and it still makes sense. Problem solved.

I like the way that things are being done now. Sorry if it isn't -amazingly- realistic, but its quick, and if there is a fire do you really have time to type up an amazing roleplay post? I like this proposal. Its obvious olive has the orcs in mind, and such a group could definitely use something like this.

the biggest problem that i have with gem cutign as it is, is that it is VERY easy to collect cut gems, but very har dto collect UN CUT gems case in point, olive has over 500 cutgems from treasure hunting, while my dwarf has mined barely 50 diamonds from months of coal mining. this is fair ....how? ...

Not all characters where hoods. Hooded characters are supicious in their own right, and it is near impossible for any creature to remake something the exact same way every time. Flaws will happen, cloth will have tears, different dirt marks, so on and so forth. Yes, but as pointed out your characte...

If your character is identified, after they are wearing a hood through real ways, then basically your character is -known- to be wearing a hood by that character. If you saw a guy you know run by wearing a hood, and later you saw a person with the same hood, would you expect it to be some one else?...

So long as they have a good excuse for recognising, thats fine. Ive seen hooded characters recognised due to 'their eyes' and other weird excuses. Mostly however, i think it would just be fun trying to work out who it was from their attitude/character traits
