A shrill scream!

If one were to voyage near the long golden bridge leading to the city of Runewick, it is possibly they may hear a high pitched shreaking sound. If they were to follow the direction of the sound's origin they may notice the volume increasing and the unsettling tone transforming into a shrill scream ...

Re: Was there a time when Illarion had more than 10 players

I had fun yesterday, so don't let us spoil that. Absolutely - I liked it how we managed to have a *pure* battle and trash talk. Unfortunately I pk'd Deanna though, because when she stumbled back my char didn't untarget her (wasn't my intention ah well), but other than that it went pretty well afaik...

The rusted chains of prison moons
Are shattered by the sun
I walk a road, horizons change
The tournament's begun
The purple piper plays his tune
The choir softly sing
Three lullabies in an ancient tongue
For the court of the crimson king(s)

Re: Was there a time when Illarion had more than 10 players

However, i do think you have the right to appear a bit "stubborn" when you've put a few thousand hours of your spare time into working on a project, and some others who have not even tried supporting that project for a meager week or two three, provokingly declare your work as crap. And i...

Re: magical Gemsmith-Hemp Necktie

This is poor design. The only reason for this is purely ooc punishment on those who don't assimilate. That may sound ridiculous but when you consider that this decision lacks any in game logic or roleplay sense (omitting a potentially crooked and shamed gem-smith character in the wilderness who off...

Re: Some devoted spice

I have first hand experienced so many badly dealt with scenarios where the 'good guys' just try to pk everything. They even try to pk a gm character when they are building tension. Don't be a complete moron and try to make the game fun for everyone, okay? Is that TOO much to ask!??? Well if you spe...

Re: Some devoted spice

I think Morbius and myself are very similar, as I see myself agreeing with most thing he posts. I also think Jefferson Gray and Dreadhart are so well equipped to destroy most chars in the game (mechanically) that they could indeed be the leaders that people can get behind like Drathe said. If this t...

I just want to say that I feel I overreacted in my initial comment. This game has been pretty good to me and it would be pretty crappy to leave it like that. Think I just need a break is all. The game is still being developed and all.

There is really no need to discuss this subject here again. The topic here is about the chancellor system & the Don-chancellor relationship. And I didn't even refer to you. Please stick to it. So you get to write all that stuff and a reply isn't allowed? That's awfully one sided and unfair. I r...

If your char do a crime you will be banned from all towns. Even if you attacked only one. I cant agree with that opinion. Can you give an example? That's a good point. Lia can give some examples, too? Also, I suppose it's not very nice to say that Karrock's rp is boring. A bit passive aggressive, r...

That is a rather interesting recollection of events that you describe, Samantha Lynch. However, it is of course less than surprising that you show your bias and jump to the side of your wretched husband. Perhaps if you were to cast your mind back in a way less desperate to illuminate your devotion t...

Cadomyr attacker defeated in duel of honor!

Citizens and friends of Galmair, I thought it prudent that I share with you all the event which happened on this morning, 16 Chos 48. I, Jefferson Gray, Galmair patriot and war hero of the realm did defeat Cadomyr knight S'rrt K'shire in a duel that he instigated and I did end. The questionable kni...

If you act in a more cyclic way (work - break - work - break) all that changes is that the water level is sometimes high, sometimes low. In average you win nothing (and lose nothing) over a constant pattern. In conclusion: You can play in whatever style you like. There is no way to "speed up&q...

Re: Repairing Items should lower quality

If this does end up happening making 'special items' an exception from the rule could end up being very unfair IMO. Whilst these special weapons/armours etc etc need magical gemstones to 'gm make' they are still weapons and armour in the end. Should they be an exception to the rule everyone would ju...

Re: Learning skills/mental cap?

If your skill gain has come to a halt, try playing the game for the equivalent of a couple hours a day for a week (with no skill gain related activity whatsoever) and on your return to skill gain you should find it easier. Otherwise you'll just waste many hours grinding. Short bursts of skill gain. ...

FYI - Bottles stack, too, when not labeled. 'Horrible and chaotic' isn't really a great excuse to be fair.

Robes, armours, weapons and practically everything can be 'labelled' by Gms so it would be a bit of a double standard not to allow the same for food. Did you ask a Gm?
