I don't really see anything wrong with using monsters from mythologies. It's not as if the other MMORPGs made these monsters up themselves.

For monsters, if graphics are a problem, why not (for now) simply rename them and alter their stats/weapons/magic?

I think it has to do with the way you spell it when you ask to buy it. Make sure you spell it exactly as it shows up on his menu when you ask him what he sells. I've bought topaz powder before, so I know it's possible.

I just tested a meadow rhabarb and it identifies it as a footleaf in everything but the name.

The first rune tells me "footleaf" and the properties for foot leaf.

When I place it in a broth, it tells me the broth has the properties of footleaf.

On the flip side, some npcs are annoying. Example: The goblin at the docks who says "xxxxxxx" in #me's and in their words.

Some spells are very annoying when the skill isn't trained well. Multiple walls result in 3 or sometimes less, portals lead to the wrong place, etc. There's still reason to skill, even after you have the runes.
