Four active players, none mages, none druids, none knights or members of any other guild will actually be able to build... along with the possibility in town *reads above posts* I am assuming if one player becomes inactive that can be a problem as far as the building? Are houses/buildings to be dis...

I think that those buildings which exist IG, should be free game for purchase, donation or trade just as all other property. This point clearly needs clarification. So all those buildings, which have already/will be built, can be traded/sold/given away IG. Managing rents for several buildings will b...

It would seem that Edward Cromwell is extremely busy, and is only seen in town to purchase more ink and parchment for something. Otherwise, he stays firmly in northbridge.

((will probably be only sporadically active or mainly inactive during the following weeks, at least))

@Ogerawa That's one of my concerns too. I fear that if there's no way (eg bringing gems to the goblin) which lowers the price of the ingredients (of which, as far as I know, there might be quite a few) the 'price' of the potions will be disproporionately high in comparison to their benefit for the u...

Well, Jewls. This is a very reasonable system all in all, as I didn't really want to suggest a system which imposes "strict" limitations on what people can do. However it seems to me, that you have more personally at stake here than me, as I don't actually use combat skills and for ed thos...

Without the skill boost the system will not work as intended, because then it will 'only' attract (and benefit!) those people who have already maxed their skills or who are interested in doing so, causing the disparity between warrior/craftsman/mage characters as there's nothing which diminishes the...

Yes, well: If I don't like either the skill boost NOR the increased skillcap, it's pretty easy to dismiss the idea as complete hogwash, isn't it? I mean, if you take out those two, then you have a path which gives you minuses to every other skill and no bonuses whatsoever. ;) It's rather pointless t...

I think a person who spends all the time training such a hard skill (pretty much swimming up a waterfall) should be rewarded. Garon Goldhand is the answer... and he's pretty well rewarded, seeing he owned a big house :D Also perhaps goldcrafting would be more viable if the new types of amulet were ...

The skill boost encourages people to choose their path 'before' maxing out (and possibily utilizing other skills for a long time before doing so). There's no incentive to choose the path at skill 50, if you gain no benefits except in the (distant) future which means that a path will be chosen only b...

One of the problems I see with the suggestion right now is...it is practically impossible to earn much coin in any craft unless your skill is over 80. Normal circumstances this may not be a problem..but there can be exceptions. My Druid char is first a Druid, then a tailor. As of now it cost a LOT ...

@Essie That is because Falk wishes that 1.) the gemdust takes away money from the game and that 2.) the cost limits the production quantities of potions. When these are desirable goals, then you cannot make the gem-powdering free of 'production costs'. I wish that 1.) Gems have more use ingame and 2...

It seems that there is certain confusion here: You can still get ALL skills up to 80, despite whatever you choose. Anyone who says that 80 is not a good skill needs to stop hanging around with Matt, Lucius and others. That's perfectly good to be self sufficient in most everything and represents thos...

Let the Goblin grind gemstones into dust for a fee. If the current price for dust is 110 coppers each, make him charge 60-70 coppers for pulverizing the gemstones that are brought to him.
