Re: Open world?
tl;dr: Players should be able to exist and self-govern in groups other than the completely lame pre-made factions, preferably with depot and tools

Re: Free Men!
By Zelphia's Divine Providence I did not visit the spirit realm, but thank you for taking notice. While we are on the subject of backstabbing and hypocricy I should point out the two nobles present yesterday are guilty of the crimes they claimed to fight against: -Countess Annabeth committed heresy ...

Will Ssar'ney resign?
A young orc clips a paper onto the boards inside the Hemp Necktie Inn. Will Ssar'ney resign? It seems the victors thought the fighting earlier this day was over a little too early. Having gone to their tavern for drink and celebration they apparently were not aware that a number of their opposition...

Bob was nice enough to nominate me for captain duty even though I did not ask him to, and at this point I would like to have my name removed from such consideration.

Re: Bloodshed not over, Preparation to defend the city!
I still don't see what the fuss is about. We can go and dethrone him and replace him with Tyan or S'rrt. Has anyone in Cadomyr actually objected to that? They'd have a more competent noble and the relations between towns will be better than it ever has been before. If everyone is too scared I can go...

Re: One town instead of 3.
It's been 2ish years so I think that's a decent enough sample size to ask "what has the faction system given us?", some may disagree but I would say "not enough to justify". I look on the online list and see a new person in an empty faction and think "well that person isn't ...

Re: No sarcasm in cadomyr
There's a very easy way to deal with the Cadomyr problem if anyone has the fortitude to go through with it. We should declare that we will be arriving in Cadomyr as liberators. Ssarney will be jailed and Annabeth will be sent back to her brothel. S'rrt and Tyan will be appointed as nobles to replace...

Re: Citizens be advised
This situation reminds me of something I saw while meditating last week. I opened my eyes and saw a cow eating some grass at the edge of the woods. Hovering above it was a small fly. The cow continued with its business despite the presence of the fly. It kept buzzing around the cow's head and landin...

Re: Galmair is op: A Rant on Developer Favouritism
There's still miners to buy from out there but there are definitely less. I don't sell raw mined stuff to most people anymore and I can explain why, maybe a dev can look at this explanation and think of something. I used to only mine because I don't like crafting and am too lazy to figure all the cr...

Re: Galmair is op: A Rant on Developer Favouritism
I think you are still overstating that advantage. And atm, I've seen people from Galmair come to 'rape' that NPC just as people from Cadomyr do, and calling it 90%-10% is not true, it may be 60-40 for Cadomyr, but I'd wager taken all towns together, it'll probably come out at 50-50. There are golds...

Re: Galmair is op: A Rant on Developer Favouritism
2) The primary goldsmith NPC in Cadomyr caused a lot of goldsmiths to be in Cadomyr and to produce a ton of stuff and receive a ton of gold. I don't know if there's data on the total number of gems given out but I was bet money Cadomyr has had more gems than any other faction despite not having the...

Current Leadership ranks: Galmair: 1x Lvl 10 3x Lvl 9 Runewick: 1x Lvl 9 2x Lvl 8 Cadomyr: 1x Lvl 9 1x Lvl 8 (1x Lvl 8 upcoming) Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. Re: Unfounded Rumours
I respected Ssarney greatly but it seems some things have changed during my trip away from these lands. All of my close business associates have described erratic and violent behavior from him. It pains me to say as much about another brother but it seems he is becoming increasingly unhinged. Perhap...

Re: Update 26th of June - Update 26. Juli
With more agility you can walk faster AND attack faster. With more strength you can carry more stuff AND attack stronger. When it comes to combat those are luxuries, not necessities. Having certain skill levels are necessities. Right now warriors and archers have to seriously consider addressing 7 ...

Re: Update 26th of June - Update 26. Juli
The INT thing seems a bit unfair .. Alchemists and (future) Mages are going to be putting points into that because it will likely serve a functional role for them outside of faster learning. Warriors/Archers/Etc don't have that overlap so they'll need to dump points into INT just to not get penalize...

Re: A Logical Conclusion
Ending The Feud Some time ago I announced the death of a friend that was very dear to me, Vern Burnhammer. It seems I was hasty. Having found none of his remains, and hearing rumors of his presence abroad, I went on a six month trip so see for myself. It turns out that he is alive and (relatively) ...
