I have a sudden urge to write an NPC that slags off people.

Oh how is old Deuce doing? I used to hate him when he randomly ran into Caelum while I was afk, pked me and ran away, but since he killed Siltaris and stuff things were cool.

Don't forget you're currently residing in a town whose members are associated with alliances with the ORIGINAL temple, blood magic, demon ressurections, slaughtering tb, murdering Siltaris, treason against Silverbrand's king and various unprovoked attacks on Grey Rose.

There's a force field round Caelum to stop you getting in.

Nah there's the elves who are humans with pointy ears except they act elitist towards humans.

And there's the elves who chose elves for the extra int stats for magic.

Some Illarion orcs befriend humans and fight for good. They can be shamans and reasonably intelligent etc. They're not made from elves. How are they like the LotR orcs?

Indeed, but as I said, his ideas form the basis. You shouldn't really at any point in illa say "halflings should do x because they were like that in lotr".

You can FOIG by skilling up till you have enough skill to do it. FOIG doesn't necessarily mean "ask someone"
