I've never found a map while fishing and my fishing is sort of green. While fishing 1 day noticed a dwarf get 2 maps right beside me and she was a new character, had just gotten the fishing pole, and had never fished before... Though I don't think the chances of getting a map should change I do like...

To blow glass yes, but you also need glass ingots. Making those is the part I'm having trouble with.

I don't plan to become a glass blower but I would like to know how this works since I've tried it and can't seem to get it right. 1st I dug coarse sand near varshikar 2nd I used a sieve and got quartz sand 3rd I went to a glass melting oven(wooden shovel and brick mold in hand quartz sand and potash...

its not that I'm afraid its more of me not being a fighter, and this is a town not some place monsters are native. The workshop, the library, the hospital, every where you try to run there are monsters...so no way to run up or down any stairs(and not much reason to play the game if I'm hiding in a b...

There are extremely strong monsters in Trollsbane. I'm not a fighter so I usually stay in town where its safer, but today its not. sometimes when making items I'm told I need a yellow potion for the next step. I've looked around at some of the merchants that sell potions, and the only potion I've found that looks yellow is a food potion... will that work? or is there another merchant that I haven't found that sells a yellow pot...

you don't have to be an elf, there is a guy hiding off on the northwest coast of Tol Vanima that sells slicers for 70. That seems way too high, but you can usually get carving tools in trollsbane from another player alot cheaper.

its just that most of the trees and logs on the ground won't let me even try to harvest(no messages, nothing happens) but I did find 1 near the prison that works

There are other trees than just cherry/apple or those who can be cutted down. To make yellow dye the wiki says I need rotten tree bark, how do I get it? Not too nooby with the answer I have a sickle and I've been walking around trying to gather bark from every fallen tree/log I can find. My lumberjacking is quite low(my highest skill), but I found that I'm more likely to get branches from apple trees but only if I pick the apples first. I actually get less wood if I don't pick the apples first so I pick them anyway. not sure if its the way its coded or if I'm just randomly lucky but...

often while playing I'll recieve messages such as "you can't concentrate on learning" or "you urgently need to rest to be mentally fit again" and a few others that I can't recall at the moment, what do this messages mean and how can I stop them?

what about adding an option for the player to save(a button or text command) that could be used if the person has done something they believe is important

Higher level skill gain requiring you to create objects which require hard to find/gather materials. Not the common ores. wouldn't that mean the person powergaming would still be better than the RPer since they would mine more often and find the rarer materials?
