Skill gain is very tiring as a mage... Without powergaming, there's really no hope of getting good. The main place I see this is teachers... Really? I don't know... That must be your opinion on what ghosting is, ingame. To me, you're lucky you still keep the char after you die... I know some games where you don't. I know it's hard to gain skill at higher levels... Maybe a lower skill loss on higher-leveled skills, and a higher skill loss...

Does weather effect attributes or fighting in any way, like rain makes you less accurate...or snow makes you slower? Something like that? That sort of thing. I'm thinking this is more of an ingame issue. Just because you met one of the many attention deprived characters ingame doesn't mean everyone should change their RP styles.

It is very inconsistant... And a bit unrealistic, but I do understand that. I'm not too big a fan of "#me eats five loaves of bread so they won't die of starvation after 20 minutes of fighting", but again, it is a good system for how everything works, at the moment. I like the soup idea......
