Have them as extremely fast slashing weapons which do very little damage.

Poison should be impossible to train, random in the damage it does, and much harder to obtain/make.

This is really a question for the technical section, but yes ive experienced the same thing and i believe its probably because your current version of windows in incompatible. Or maybe just slow, not really sure.
