Requests also need to have a realistic background, for example, a hardened warrior is unlikely to be granted permission to cast spells and put hexes on other characters... I do not quite see the problem. I use the IG time on the website and RP tgat my character looks where the sun is.
The time is there and has to be used IG otherwise your char wouldnt know when quests would start.
