Just one question Bror....you told the first part of the story in a 3rd person view and then you told the second part in 1st person view (calling the messenger "I") , so is the messanger in this story "Bror" or someone else?

Well fine i guess i'm not gonna win this argument no matter what i say but i just think mages who are bad fighters is just so sterotypical. Yes i don't think the power of a mage's spell should be increased to balance things out. Rather i think the damage done by weapons should be toned down instead....

OK i agree that this rule will help the roleplaying in the game. But along with these changes, i hope you will find better way for the magic resistance system as well, making a monster that can cast spells might be one a good idea. The Magic Academy is not a guild, but a place of learning, so anyone may join, whether you are already in a guild or not, and regardless of what race you are. :cheesy:
