Re: Dragons Roar
I, unfortunately, wasn't able to attend this event because of a scheduling conflict. However, I'd like to make some small notes based on what I've read here and elsewhere (mostly here, because the flames elsewhere put the whole cave to shame): 1) Players being able to make special equipment to do st...

You have a 1/4000 chance of a pure element with each action. Don't worry, you aren't messing up, Nargun is just not in your favor.

I had to somewhat skim this topic, and then a few German paragraphs were beyond my comprehension so I had to plug them through Google, so let me make sure I have this discussion accurate: Manron wanted a repeatable quest that has pure elements as a reward. There was discussion back and forth about t...

It's worth mentioning that the difference between perfect and awful is only like, at most, 16%
Edit: Decided to use the real number instead of a flippant remark. It's more relevant than I was implying.

I am of the opinion that if a situation requires cooperative RP by players, and those players refuse to cooperate, then the engine should be able to settle the difference. I am also of the opinion that there needs to always be a "counterplay" available to all engine mechanics. You have a b...

Re: Instate a key to abort attack (like b for bag).
As the title states. Could the devs implement a key to abort the current targeted attack? I noticed today when fighting in the battle especially how fidgety it is to untarget from battle and try to gulp a potion. It's very cumbersome with all the mouse scrolling etc etc, especially if your target h...

Re: Respect the conflict!
I mentioned it when you posted to OT, but I feel similar. Inter-character conflict is hugely necessary for a game like ours. At the same time, it makes sense for those peace loving hippies in the game (NOT THEIR PO'S THOUGH, IMPORTANT DIFFERENCE) to do what they can to prevent wars. If the PO is doi...

Re: Longer Mas
Taking into consideration the casual gamers and, those who have many responsibilities out side of the game (that make up I presume a large chunk of the player base), I totally support this idea. Mas would only need something like 6 more ig days to do it and give these people more chance to attend. ...

I would really like to hear the opinion of GMs on this. I feel like the workload they would have from more days of Mas would be comparable to the technical workload it put on the dev team to make it work. The only reason I can see any technical difficulties from Mas "stealing" a few days i...

Mas thus far has been very well done. Good job gm team, keep it up. Everyone was great. I loved how not every single attack was a generic "undead, surprise!" but had variation to them. The way you handle Dead Kings is way different from how you handle Madness Dragons, which is totally a d...

Re: Galmair is op: A Rant on Developer Favouritism
This is really just related because people keep talking about NPC merchants in this thread. Also, I feel like people choose towns for largely RP reasons, not mechanical, but that's all whatever. What if we had citizen status in towns affect trade rates with that town's NPCs? For example, A Galmairia...

I like it. It's much more simple and user friendly, and it's less frustration for new players. Once he made a character, he immediately skipped the tutorial, went to the first NPC he saw, clic...

This is only tangentially related: Do guards still spam "Get back, nasty beast!" or whatever it is? I remember during Mas it was almost impossible to talk to anybody in Galmair by the gates when the guard was just endlessly streaming that message.
