Well, I didn't realize I actually was set on reduced graphics but I changed it to high & still no luck... Also, i'm aware my Char must be on level 0 to view the whole map... So does what Raina suggested make sense as the next step?

Yes, I have an amethyst amulet, and i have a magical amethyst gem. I am not able to set the stone into the amulet no matter what I try...

I don't have an amethyst ring nor do I want to place it in a ring. I'd like to put it in the amethyst amulet i have, so if it only works with rings it is a bug right? or am i just doing something wrong?
