So you expect to be able to shift click the water in the graveyard, shift click again for food and get a con bonus for it when other players have to pay x silvers for dishes?. Its not like roast fish is particulary heavy anymore - you'd probably break your armour before you run out of enough fish. ...

I liked Ashayen's RP very much today, two unexpected events and a complete change of plans afterwards. Very good emotes and very interesting situation the two ended up in now. I look forward to seeing how the situation develops! So thank you very much. :D

I think it would be a gross understatement to say that Darlok's quest had "some GM support" (when you factor in that certain aspects of the game were turned off for the duration of the quest, which lasted for a considerable amount of time). It was a fun quest though, but relied so much on coercion t...

I oppose any thieving system as long as catching people is as huge pain in the ass as it currently is. Simply because a system where the success of thieving no longer depends from the cooperation of the victims, but where catching the thief depends on his cooperation will suck ass. You should consi...

I'd also advice that if you want your input to be taken seriously, you also begin to consider how you express yourself (as in: capital letters, punctuation, slang words and so and so). Just a friendly hint.

You've just proved the point, Nathan. A master fighter is more than a match for a master mage. A fighter who's been ig a month or two like this guy's can't expect to beat mages considering the bulk of them have been ig for years. That's not so simple, though. As Po-Pellandria surprisingly (altough ...

If I have dragged the char half-way across the map to train the char, then I typically log at once when the skillcap comes.

1.) Let there be an option for "I am fine with both/all times" 2.) Let the gamemasters see which chars/accounts have voted for which day 3.) Let the system be used in advisory way also, meaning that in some situations the gamemasters may choose the time which has less votes, simply because as you po...

Re: New One

I was playing just now beating up forest troll warriors and a shaman came along and bitchslapped me... and i thought, could it be possible to make it so that you get magic resistance skill by npc/monsters casting magic on you not just players? Far as I know, its already ingame. Next? magic resistan...

Some very interesting characters, interesting interactions... character development possibilities, as well as the rather unique ability to shape the game, talk with the developers and the whole IG "lets see if it is possible to pull that off AND get away with it"-aspect. ;)

Heh, I am not actually referring to a "Dantagon is a shitty fighter, even Cromwell beat him in a duel"-situation. Rather to "that character is a character mine has never seen or heard about before, so he probably is new and I consequently don't have to take him seriously", which happens. The line I ...

That's nothing which can be solved by a skill wipe, namely because the problem stems from player attitudes and not from the mechanism of gaining skill itself. What I mean is, that other players simply will not take a weak (non-high skilled) character seriously. This is particularly true in fighting,...

I think that learning languages is not a bad idea if: 1.) The cost is high enough, meaning that sufficient amount of coins are taken out of the game (2,5++ gps) 2.) You can only learn one (max two!) new languages, with intelligence limits on your learning capacity, varying from language to language....

I think there should be a cooldown of 30-60secs between visible emotes. Or just a cooldown like that for playing the instrument.

I mean, the emotes themselves are not bad or wrong. It's just that dumbasses run around spamming the chat non-stop with that.

Overpowered ? Of course it's overpowered. In fact, it's the only possible solution to use an overpowering army for an event where Troll's Bane's leadership has managed to put the town at war with the by far biggest empire on the continent, which at the same time is kinda Gobiath's closest neighbour...

That's an enormous load of rubbish even coming from you, which is quite spectacular because you tend to be quite consistent in your nonsense-spouting, really.

I have to admit that I was surprised, negatively.

...A two week ban on anyone who spams with instruments during such mass events. Please.

It's confusing enough already without acts of random assholery.

well, we know how the staff works. It takes three-four years for them to figure out that it's probably not a bright idea if two shields make you completely invulnerable to melee damage. But once that train has (finally) started moving, there's no stopping of it anymore... "Heute, verboten wir die do...

Calm down guys. I'm sure the staff actually comes to understand that it was a bit stupid for them to expect that TB will just give up like that, and maybe they'll think the whole thing over.
