Considering that I suggested this to begin with, I obviously agree. ;)

I'd just like to point out that if the "three times as fast" means that normal gain/low bonus gain rate is slow (as you say!), you need to think again. When this means that those warriors who do not eat the best quality food have to loiter around waiting for the stamina to increase at a pitiful rate...

I approve this idea.

Bugs - Disappearing mule - The enemies have been lead away from the spawn by some asshat (Luckily this will be fixed) - the "bag is full"-bug IMBA - Magic teaching - completely broken. There should be a way to learn magic on your own since players cannot be depended on <- Missing feature, too. - Mag...

The main function of this game is to provide a world to RP with other players, at least thats what I thought it was. Redesigning the game that would work better for a larger player base we did not have seems to be bad design. Its never a communities fault for not enjoying the game, because they can...

See i dont agree on this one. I would honestly like to work for my rewards and it makes it more fun but thats my opinion. My char Alex doesnt even train any more as i didnt set out to have a maxed char only a decent one. In my opinion it should be a little harder (Fighting skill) because we have to...

Looking at the thread there are evidently some very differing views over what is 'wrong' with illarion (my own view included). Moreover, the subjectivity of the sources of dissatisfaction is further highlighted by the fact that some of the things mentioned here as "bad changes" such as increased map...

Stop bitching and DO things if you're bored. Demanding entertainment from others never changes anything. Always a good idea. Highly skilled chars? Again, stop bitching. Everyone has equal chances to skill, it's not anyone's fault you don't have time or patience. Well, this is relevant to a degree w...

I have no hard evidence of course, but the policy of "more realism" in the RPG migh be responsible for the lack of activity there. When looking at the average amount of responses per thread there, it feels empty. It has become an announcement board, really (edit: which is more or less the antithesis...

@Nalzaxx I disagree strongly. If one method of killing people has a stronger effect than others, despite the eventual outcome being equal, then the ones who employ the said method will have and advantage over others, in particular if there is no randomness involved anymore. This doesn't make sense t...

@Nalzaxx Haven't you heard the saying "For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong"? :P I think your idea is a good simplification, though. That is something which the devs might find more appealing to script, even though personally I like complex systems more. :P R...

Afflictions; Alternative to the current death-consequences

Afflictions; An alternative punishment for death I think it is reasonable to assume, that I am not the only one who is hardly a fan of the current way of handling the death of a character. Now, while I'm in agreement that certain bad stuff should take place after your character has died, I do not ag...

I think it would actually be better if the proposal board would still allow discussions, just not new topics by random people. There are several reasons for this: Firstly, it would give your average player the possibility to voice his opinion over ideas that have been pre-screened by developers (to ...

Re: Your first time in Gobiath..

How was it? It sucked, I got lost between the library shelves with my dwarf (old graphics, mind you). Were there a lot of people online? 2 2 Did you meet any people? Who? Where? Someone. Thought it was an NPC. What did you first do? Log out. What 'class' was your first char? Did he/she stray on thi...

Now, something that I thought might be worthwhile to play around with.. "Made to fit". Imagine that player-smiths would be able to "tailor make" an armor to the specific measures of the customer. This would require the target-character to be present as the crafting of the armor is begun (or some oth...

IG Pager?! Guys its a RP-Game! No medieval-chat with some engine around it! I dont want to get ANY meassage like "A dove gets to you" when i am in Green Briar....cause NO dove could find me there. A dove can only find its way home. Which would mean: my doves arrive at Nordmark, nowhere ...

Actually, it would be really nice to alert a char IG that "he's got mail". You know, sometimes you'd like things to happen promptly and you see the char IG, but can't find him (we all know how hard that can be) and the player just won't check the PM box. So instead of having a system that is linked ...

Plenty of reasons if you bother to a...
