Re: Removing of parchments

Well - I do watch this now since some time. Especially Cadomyr is terrible. Since I understand that there is the freedom to to do so I do not have to like it. If I would have posted and it is removed in the way the last one not long ago did - without broke any rule - I would be upset as hell. Notes...

Marked

'Bite down on this.' It wasn't much of a request. He pressed a roll of rag into her mouth, and waited for her to bite down. Then he stood, examining his task. Marking within the gypsy clans was always brutal. His own brand however, was even more so. The girl knelt before him, hands and feet tied tig...

The Shards of Glass

The glass desert is not the friendliest of places. In fact, it is a lifeless, barren wasteland populated by its own select brand of strange creatures who have somehow developed an ability to survive there. The local humanoids are no different. You won't find any similar anywhere else. People live o...

Re: To the monster spawning not to !gm answering GM

Roleplay is not immersion and if it is in your case, you're doing it wrong. =) What roleplay is is consensual storytelling. You can't have consensual storytelling with someone who isn't there, but it doesn't stop you from doing it with someone else. This is a point I regularly bring up and I actual...

Re: To the monster spawning not to !gm answering GM

No way, I hate idling, it ruins the immersion.

The skillcap rule sucks also however.

Re: Archduchy of Trolls Bane

Your words are now meaningless Dronrul, since some of us already saw your friend attempt to summon the black dragon into our streets. If you meant ill only to temple members, this, something which could potentially destroy the town, would not have happened.

Re: Melissa is too high stakes

The stakes are too low as far as I'm concerned.

Would be sweet if we could change them to whatever we wanted.

Slash, Cut and Burn

The Holy Shrine on the island of Tol Vanima is surrounded by the mangled corpses of trees. Small fires dotted around the area send plumes of woodsmoke into the sky, and a man sits crosslegged in the midst of the destruction, roasting a pig over a slow fire. An axe lies on the blackened grass beside...

I assure you, the prison removal is nothing to do with me Grokk. I'm flattered that you think I'm capable of weilding such influence. :)

Perhaps my words were a little harsh, or over the top. I'm sorry if I upset anyone.

I'm not enemies with PO Elijah. I don't know him personally.

I disapprove with how he's been roleplaying, and yes I think his character is a crappy governor.

I bare no ill will to him personally though.

In the past, it was because I didn't want people learning the character's name. Or read the profile. Also, I prefer meeting up with people organically, rather than arranging it via msn or spotting them on the list. Odd I know, but its how I roll. Feels more like real life I guess? (at least in a wor...

Enjoyed the woodland campfire roleplay, though I should probably apologise to the po of the elfess Esty for getting her inadvertently ghosted. :? Was fun, and somewhat hilariously random all the same. Also enjoyed an interesting little chat with a certain governors daughter. Nice rolepl...

I think everyone has the right to play the game the way they want, as long as they follow the basic rules of conduct and don't seek to spoil the fun of others. Some people like to chat with little or no emotes, some seek conflict, others like romance, some like to play with the game engine, a few w...

Your entire post was counter productive to my statement. The whole, "Entertain others" sentiment is complete and utter bees wax and you know it. For example, if Elijah were to randomly declare war on a settlement or entity tomorrow, and actually went to the offensive, I guarantee you that there wou...

I've honestly wondered why more people haven't asked me in the past why I'm hardly IG these days. I thought it would be more pronounced since past Governors would have already been overthrown by now. That is mostly due to the fact that like Grokk said, there is a tremendous level of OOC sentiment t...

Arvermor: Cheers, and I knew that, just thought I'd throw it out there anyway. :P Ezor: Kind words! :) The shrinking idea is what I'd call the most important option out of those three. The gms don't have to delete portions of the map, either. There could even be a rp reason, eg: some insane wizard i...

Hi Illa.

During my brief return here a week ago, I noted some things some of you folks (mostly gms and game designers, I'd suspect) might find interesting. Since I know barely anyone now, plus I'm a full time university student with work, girlfriend, and all that shabazz, my POV is basically that of a NOOB. ...

To clarify, I meant difficult in the sense it would be more arduous and unrewarding. For instance when you accuse someone of being "difficult". Rather than in the sense it would be a greater challenge to the player. The reason is many older players put a lot of time into characters, and an easier g...

How was it? Awesome, at least the first time. I went to the tavern, where some human mocked my name (for like the first month ig I was known as Colin Smells, quite funny). Were there a lot of people online? Yeah, loads. It was during a big bust up between Dain and co and the KOG. I followed the knig...

As it is, being ghosted annoys the crap out of players already. We already got Newbies or people with lower skills utterly change their characters behaviour when one of the "evil" (high skilled chars) get around. Only very few people dare to react to insults / insulting behaviour of let's say e.g. ...

The gypsy known as Colin, or Maxis, is rumoured to have been spotted in a salkamaerian port, trading 'magic' goods. Whatever he is doing there, he isnt on gobaith. It is unknown if he will be seen on that isle again.

*A slim man wearing a bandana wanders up to the parchments, before coming to a stop as his dark eyes flick across them. Coming to the final one, he rolls his eyes and gives a little giggle, before quickly sliding out a piece of parchment and quill, speaking softly and melodically as he writes* 'Oh ...
