Letter from the mainland

*a letter is delivered to the library on display in public* "Dear residents and citizens of Gobaith. Your old friend Konrad writes back to you once again from the mainland with a small update on recent events. The Crescent Moon clan has found its new homeland in Mitsobar and is growing slowly b...

Konrad was now midway between Nubris and Ur-Nekropolis. Every Oasis he found on his way, someone was out there to get him. He had to replenish his water supplies eight times now. The journey was now even harder, as one of the assassins finally managed to shoot the camel with an arrow. Konrad had to ...

Yeah, I have a debate. Why is assaulting the governor a greater offense than assaulting a citizen of town. We elected you, we defended you, and we pay tax and feed the city. If there is anyone who should be protected in a harsher way, it's not the governor, because you, Jorokar, are a capable fighte...

Traditions of the Trade

Two men were walking the busy market streets of Salkamar, among the tall towers and massive blocks of city buildings, passing connecting overhead bridges and thick wooden walking rails, upon which women were drying laundry and setting baskets of dried fruit to get some more sun. One man was tall wi...

I swear if you get the majority of population to do it Nargun style, my char will support it. Go with the flow, so to speak. Though you might add it would be nice to have an occasional drugged pig thrown in.

Can I respectfully ask of Town Guard magic users to not block the town gates with magic walls and use some other tactic instead, like paralysis? Drethek vs Konrad

They stood, two tall men, on the northern cliff over the ocean just as they once stood when they first met. The sea was raging rythmically against the sharp rocks. Drethek was facing the steep edge of the cliff where was a single path down to the water. Konrad was in his way, separating him from tha...

Well, Nitters, I look down at myself, at my hands, and see wrinkles, the pattern of skin, smoothness of it, I can look at my muscles if I flex a bicep, I can tell if my stomach and ribs are fit, if the muscles are shabby and saggy or well defined. I look down at my stomach and see if I am fat or ski...

Something i noticed about the examination system. Characters with high perception can detect more details about other people from greater distance than characters with low perception. That's great. But also, if you click on yourself, it looks like the game still checks for perception. Is this a bug ...

Why should you always win? How childish. I don't always win. I allowed 2 assassins to best me in an RP-played fight. But that time was rediculous. The bad guy was uncareful enough to stay close to town, and he got surrounded on all sides. That's why the "RP" way had to account for it. I a...
