I've been out of the loop for awhile so I apologize if my answers may be a little irrelevant. But it's a survey! It says older players! So I'll fill it out anyways! :D Why did you start playing, what were you looking for? I was in to RPG's of all kinds and I found this off of, i think it was http://...

Re: A wandering man....

A man walks slowly into the shop, his faded and travel-worn cloak still damp from the salt spray of the sea, his legs still sore from being cooped up on a ship. His eyes travel slowly around the room, pausing frequently to recall old memories brought back by familiar sights. He approaches the messa...

Well I just started playing again and this seemed like the thread to post in! Hello again fellow Illarionites! I look forward to spending some in game hours with you all. It is going to take me awhile to get my bearings, so much has changed. And Ezor, your words brought back fond memories of many an...

just a thought. It was said they should be randomly generated so you wouldn't have an idea how good a fighter is, or how wise they are by their age, or how long they've been in illarion. Yet, if you were actually there you could take one look at someone and make a rough guess as to how skillful they...

Well as far as i can tell the illarion reunion will offically take place next weekend, friday saturday and sunday. A time really can't be set due to timezones and no one set of times would work for everybody so i can only say just be on as much as you can that weekend and hopefully you'll see a lot ...

well yeah i think a festival is a good idea but i think five days might be a bit long, well unless everybody comes on every evening. although time zones screw things up. festival is a good idea just we have to decide on length.

I dunno i kind of like the idea of a festival like a few days long. although the one problem is the longer you make it the less chance you'll run into people because 5 days, 24 hours is 120 hours, where as if it's only a couple of evenings that's maybe 8 hours so everybody's going to be on then. but...

That way since i know a lot of people won't be able to make any date we set for various reasons if we spread it over two nights better chance of everybody making at least o...

Illarion Reunion

Hi! This is just a modest proposal in the planning stages. An illarion reunion! Open to all of course but I want to see if we can get ahold of all the old players who've left. I'm hoping some people might have msn contacts, yahoo or emails where you can reach them. Just anybody you can think of cont...

*sigh* ah yes, the good old days. My those were fun times. Feel so nostalgic *sniff*

@Kratos: The board is not as strict to go about banning people for posting a helpful website, don't worry. @Kasume: Imagination comes to all in many different ways. Indeed a person who might be able to think up a wonderful story, background and life for their character may have trouble coming up wit...

This is just referring to the original post and not the subsequent topics that evolved from it: Martin had locked this graphics board before and he unlocks it and you write something like this? It just doesn't make much sense. And so what if martin isn't the nicest guy around, but what he says blunt...

Prehaps as your books and such got more set in stone then they could be moved to the client. If you were writing the history the current history would be constantly changing but things that happened years ago should be fairly stable and perhaps they can be moved to the client.

A signiture is really just meant to be something very small, such as just your name, or a motto. But considering it already says the name of the poster they are on the whole rather useless and were deleted due to the fact, as Lilièwen already said, people had paragraphs as their signatures
