Re: Older Players

[quote="Achae Eanstray"] Why did you start playing, what were you looking for? Sun Aug 13, 2006 (so 8 years?... wow) If you quit, why did you quit playing and how long did you play before quitting? I found the game was slow to improve. The broken system(s) and exclusive rp groups. I also needed to i...

it's a pain having a character who is supposed to be 20-30 something, hell even 40-50 years old, and has little more skill than a toddler. in the beginning you can't fight, cook, read, find herbs, shoot a bow, nothing. which leaves you very limited role play wise because if you want to do anything n...

for me, i'm find i am often restricted in role play to game mechanics (ie, i want to play a lone archer, but i don't have skills to kill a rabbit), it would be great to play mid level _____, but the amount of time it takes to get there and the work is a pain in the ass. i barely have time to role pl...

Druids

Could someone please inform me, the player, of some of the new druid stuff by private message. I have heard of some new potions and stuff around. This is NOT in character knowledge so please don't tell me to find out in game. Also am not looking for anything highly detailed, general stuff only. Than...

But why on earth do you people ridicule and bash a new player with more than decent typing and grammar, knowledgable on how to express himself and definately an enrichment to the community? Ask yourselves this in all honesty: Do I fear loosing the status of "big fish in the pond" once this game wou...

I like our time-period the way it is. It just seems like more effort to me. :/
they had gunpowder cannon and muskets by the 14th century. they just weren't used a lot.

i would just like to say i think this is a decent post by alex. because despite being a D&D copy and paste job it helps give some players a new way of looking at their characters, and gives a general outline to help give them some ideas of where they might lie.

astari the book dweller. being small (even for a fairy) he found himself at the butt of many many practical jokes, one of which broke his nose. after that particular prank he didn't find them as amuzing as most fairies do and so spent time reading. it was later discovered in illarion, that he had an...

Natural Magic Room

This should be one anyone with a good memory is familar with. The idea (my idea)is a slight tweak to helping the magic system, and that was to create an area on the map that would function as a teaching room that would be accesable by everybody and controlable by no one. reasons why to do this. 1.fa...

Don't cry Tanistian. You were not informed YET. And just because someone was asking NOW you got this information. yes but all he gave for an explanation is it would be weird. if the devs&gm's have a good reason why a few characters could not change race at the end of a quest, than say so, give it. otherwise it is sounding very much like it is simply our way or the highway, on something not technically difficult...

mesha has already offered to do quests to get rid of said characters. what i don't understand is why we can't do a quest that instead of getting rid of the characters, we are instead turned into something else. I am extremely glad they have offered to transfer the skills, but i think it would be gre...
