I have the most current driver and I still have problems, is there anything I need to change under the Illarion options?

Meriels rp was teh awesome as well as all the people in the shops!

the card is a radeon 9600, i also had problems with my previous video card when i had updated the drivers. it was a nvidia 5200 geforce

today I installed a new video card and now illarion lags so horribly bad that i cannot move and it takes truly a minuete for my items in my inventory to appear and text moves very slow, can anyone tell me what I can do?
