Why shouldn't a player just be allowed to run up to someone and bash the hell out of them with no emotes? NPCs do it all the time.

I think this is why the main town should not be run by players on a purely IC basis.

It is not fun to play as someone who is entirely helpless in these situations.

1. Rich
2. Skilled
3. Influential

Most players who have a character with above attributes would be pissed off, I'd imagine, if they had to start from scratch.

The main reason why the above two posts are garbage is because in this instance and in many instances the engine will not be made fair for some time. So only the players can make the game fair, for the time being at least.

I don't think it is so wrong to trust that people will behave appropriately.

I've changed my mind. The minimap now seems to have changed to being fully zoomed in on launching as default. That is far more annoying!!!

Is there any way to make a book go away once you have selected it from a bookshelf?
Hasn't caused any problems up to now (one book can go on top of another), but in the druid house the book appears on top of the bookcase, so I can't select a new book. Hence the question. Thanks.
