Herblore in the desert?

Long story short, whenever I search for herbs in desert flowers or desert ferns , I repeatedly get the message "You find nothing but dry sand" until I am interrupted by a message (such as "You wipe sweat off your forehead).

Is this because my herblore is too low for these plants, or is it a bug?

You would never manage to, because of crashes, nukes, and other players pwning it, plus you'd need to train its parry and dodge, which would require you to heal it, but you might cap it on magic res, and you wouldn't know you capped it, and now it takes so long just to pg your OWN char now, pging a...

I can only say what i saw. Anyhow, the complainer-dwarf/mage-player doesn't play illarion anymore. And the only ones using OOC at all in the two incidents i witnessed were the temple guys, not the dwarves. Of course i have to add that i was not close enough to the happenings to hear whispered stuff...

I don't think certain players in the temple (to be quite honest, I'm not sure who you mean, but then again I haven't met everyone in the temple :P) are the only ones that are prone to complaining OOC for no reason. I'm looking at a certain group of players that play dwarves and reside in Silverbrand...

Here's the rule of good mages versus good fighters: If the fighter is stood more than 3 squares away from the mage, and gets paralysed, he's dead. If he is stood close enough and/or does not get paralysed, he wins. So good mages have a MASSIVE advantage if they fight right, I don't care what anyone ...

I don't like this idea either - looking at it this way, fighters require 4 or more skills at a time to be good (tactics, parry, dodge, conc/ranged/slash/punc/wrestling + maybe poison and magic resistance (if high enough atts), so thats up to 7 skills right there already. Say a fighter wants to learn...

right now you loose concentration (-#). when you reach the cap you slowly regenerate concentration. till nuetral. why not simply make it after x hours of not skilling after reaching 0 (fully rested as of right now) you begin to slowly gain more concentration in reserve. Anyways, how about this: To help newbs get on their feet, why not have just one trainer, who will train any skill for you (but only when logged out, or maybe an rp/action sequence built in so you can skillup faster while doing this...
