another question im cuting branches off of trees and i turn them into things such as bowls and staff handles and flails but im not growing lvl and ive made about 50 why am i not lvling?

ive been cuting hundreds of branches and turning them into flails and staff handles but i have grown a lvl. the first time i made a bowl i lvled but now i cant. why cant i?

i am a elf and i am trying to buy my crafting tools from the elf crafter. whenever i say "list your wares" it ses "looks at you confused" so how do i speak elvish if i aredy know how to speak elvish?
