Cool tobic.

I must say today I really enjoyed Marcho's roleplay. Especially when he dropped his helmet in the river and it went downstream. As it finally driven ashore, it had turned to a rusty helmet.
I had hard time playing and laughing at same time.

Slashing or piercing?

I can't figure out what skill is being used with certain weapons and it feels kinda stupid to ask these questions IG. Which skill is used for daggers and which for swords? Piercing for daggers and slashing for swords, or? Can't really figure them out since they could be used either way in RL. I susp...

I'm really looking forward to that new feature. Its a real pain writing long #me's, especially because I am not too fast at writing and english isnt my native language.

I am working hard to get all my 10-fingers working. Writing long #me with 2 fingers, just doent work.

Pardon?
I can't make gloves yet. I only gained the minimum skill that gives me the "tailoring" in skill menu.
The same basic leather shoes are failing now, and they never did before when I had zero skill.

Bug: Tailoring never fails if no skill

I found this bug yesterday, and I haven't noticed anyone else mentioning it:

My character never failed to make leather shoes when he didn't have the tailoring skill at all, but as soon as he gained 1 point he started failing alot. Doesn't seem right.

Argh... I never claimed newbies should fight pros equally, but they still should have a change of winning. Offcourse the more skilled one should win in the long run. But fights dont last the whole day you know... Lets say there is a change of 1/3 that the bad fighter succeeds and pro fails.(About as...

Bad: A good fighter always wins in every single "diced" attack / parry Good: A good fighter wins the majority of diced attacks / parries, leaving the bad fighter a chance to hit him, but at the end of the day, the better one wins Yeaahh... This is how I see it too. There is a theorotical ...

True, each and everyone does mistakes, even in important competions, but this does not mean they are going to loose the whole fight/tournament/tie/whatever. A soccer team can still win 2:1, they made a mistake, but won in the end. André Agassi could win 6:1 against me, he made a mistake, but ground...

Estralis has nice points. [LIFESTORY]Before I found Illarion I played lots of MMORPG. Tibia/Runescape/Knight OL/Conquer OL/Dransik(beta)...and few more that I cant even remember anymore. At some point I found Illarion from google after searching for another mindless MMORPG. I was thrilled. I ...

You're confusing the sports realm for hand to hand brother. A guy more experienced in anything that is truly martial in nature will always beat anybody of lesser skill. Not trying to derail the topic, just giving Keikan more weight for his argument. Quite opposite if you ask me. In RL fighting you ...

I dont see it that way. I think it should be unlikely but still possible that the underdog wins. Thats how it works in RL too. Lol...you watch too much TV ;). Less predictable fighting?

I know the new fighting system is currently being made, but I would still like to share an idea. Dont kill me if something like this is allready being planned. Fighting in Illarion is very experience based and predictable, just as it is in every single MMORPG I'ave played. Good fighter can allways k...

Hmmm... I like most of your ideas. 1. Some type of healing skill would most definately be nice. Personally, I think its a bit stupid to heal fighting wounds by simply drinking potions or waiting them to heal. In the matter of fact I dont like the instant healing health potions at all. Couldnt they j...

I'ave been thinking the exactly same thing too.
