Oh I agree its possible for players to work around the bug in favor of the rules. But thats not the technical staffs job. Their job is to fix bugs and implement new, well tested features. And lately its been one "new flashy" turd after another. This game was technicly sound in 2001. And w...

So how come i dont see or hear anyone picking on mages whose names are blue, means they're carrying their wand, an equivalent of a gun, in their hand. Oh yeah, because they can fry your butt, isn't it? Yeah right, nobody complained so far, it doesn't seem to be a problem. Let's make it one!!...

Haven't listened to all of them - but have you also worked with note durations? A beginner's song will tend to have notes of the same durations, usually long notes and no quick variations. (true for about any children's tunes). An advanced player will add much more interesting rythm. Also, the tunes...

Can these be mp3 since they're not background music? No way. I'll try to explain again: - you cannot play mp3 in Java without additional software - therefore the client cannot play mp3 - therefore all recorded sounds must be uncompressed WAV-Files To keep the download size reasonable, there will be...

Just a few comments on this: 1. MP3s for background music are out of the question. We are not running from a DVD and have always tried to keep the download size down. Those things are huge. Limit for sounds is 4 seconds play time. 2. Midi music is just as easy to script as sounds are. 3. If the comb...

no the problem is..if someone runs out of your view and then into a crowd, there is no way, without ids, to find out who just attacked you, maybe we could needsome...green or blue circel around someone who attacked your char and it stays around 1 minute, that would atleast clean up things. Well, if...

The idea is to use the naming feature as soon as you have any idea of a name or nickname for a stranger. It is real quick now.

But if you prefer numbers to names, well, that's why they are still possible.

As nothing was changed in the client's handling of keys, the arrow key problems could be related to the new version of the graphics library which also handles the input. I have never observed this.

No. Just use the "Report to GM" item in the character context menu. The client will automatically transfer the number to the GM with your complaint.

Don't bother voting there. A year ago, the another online game I play tried to reach a significant rank there. But as it turned out people used voting bots to bring their game to the #1 position. The site operators did nothing to discourage that. It ended as a bot race with ridiculous number above 1...

Re: Visibility enhancement in narrow Dungeons

Therefore I propose to enhance the visibility in narrow dungeons by either adding a function which turns all walls transparent or by automatically turning the walls around the selected target transparent. I like that idea. In fact, I liked it so much that I just implemented it. In client version 1....

- entstandene Bilder zuschneiden
- in Client einbauen
- alles testen

Mit anderen Worten: Ein Riesenaufwand.

16 bit is only for linux, slower on Windows.
