Well said, Auric, well said indeed. The only arguable 'victim' in the case of prostitution is the woman in question's own 'honor' or 'morals'... which are subjective terms, as has been pointed out many times, and is hers to give up if she so wishes ! I can well see why you might not wish such women ...

Samantha~ You say you will no longer visit Troll's Bane because of this, and now Varshikar as well, all because we happen to hold a different view from you. You will not visit the Briar for similar reasons. Soon you will hardly be able to leave your lovely but empty Academy, rather than admit that m...

Oh. My. Gods. Darruid was AMAZING, whoever you were. I was terrified at the dagger.. laughed when I figured out what was going on... nearly cried at the end... superb RP from beginning to end! And of course, my 'standard' accolades... William was sweet as ever... and Revlen was just amazing. Kevin w...

I realize that, Richard. You missed my point entirely. ::sighs:: All I'm saying, is that everything else being equal (stats, skill levels, etc.), someone weilding the best conc weapon, or slashing weapon, or whatever... should be on roughly equal footing with someone using a double axe. That's all. ...

Weapons Styles balancing?
I just wanted to say that I think the various weapons styles need to be balanced against each other a bit. It's no fun if everyone in the game uses a bloody double axe. But if you want to be a 'good' fighter, you pretty much have to use slashing weapons. For example: Maggie has yellowish-green concu...

The mummies are still a little too hard for newer players, I think. Especially one 'variety', but I can't tell for sure which one it is. I hear people say they made new chars and had no problem with the mummies, but I don't see how.. Maggie has yellowish-green skill with both her weapon and with par...

I have to agree with Aegohl. Furthermore... the *fighting system* is there for a *reason*. Yes, there are times when a character can justifiably ask that people refrain from using the ctrl+click.. such as regular players that want to run their own 'quest' but don't want to wait around for months tra...

Even I can attest to Samantha having a sentimental side ;) In fact, I've been very remiss in not mentioning her more than once on this thread. She's much more wonderfully complex than most people think (because everyone seems to love playing 'tease the Samantha'... kind alike 'tease the bears', only...

weird kick message
I just got disconnected from the game and was given a weird error message I've never seen before:
'A technical problem in Receiver thread has occurred.
Check logfiles for details.'
Any clue what happened?

Re: Rankor Deathronk, a threat no more.
We meditated about his past crimes, murders and infractions, and decided his last one was the last chance we could accord him. And it is with regret I must announce that we finished him. May his soul rest and haunt no more. This does not sound like a matter of self-defense. This sounds like a consc...

This is a point the guard of Troll's Bane seems completely unable to comprehend! It is *entirely* possible to run, and yes, defend a town without resorting to threatening and killing every person who breaks a law. And moreso (this sounds like such a familiar argument; life truly goes in circles) Ran...

Oh wow... okay... monsters seem to be hitting WAY too hard.. I never got to the skeletons because the mummies wiped me out... and considering mummies are no longer hard enough for me to learn from, this is a problem. Monster damage needs to be taken down a few notches. Mummies should be reasonably o...
