Klak Mork, that's still a problem. The whole point of the story is to test your Roleplaying ability. If someone else writes it for you, that renders the entire thing useless. They don't make people write the story just because they can. There's a valid reason for it.

I can understand that. But the problem is, when skills are really easy to get, pretty soon everyone is powerful, and it's not really much of an accomplishment. I've just always disliked getting powerful too quick, because it makes it feel like nothing special.

But to have social interactions, a character doesn't need to be powerful. Playing a weak character can be fun as well, can't it?

Char wipe implies characters to me. I just wanted to know whether I would be able to keep my account if I got accepted now. If not, then I guess there really is little point in trying to get accepted until it starts again.

I have to agree with you there, Bloodhearte. Leaving some things mysterious can actually be better than letting the players know everything. It offers a lot of potential for quests, and stuff like that.

I have to disagree with you in some ways. I don't believe that people are messed up in the head just because they are truly attached to their characters. Perhaps some of them are a bit scary about it , but I wouldn't call them deranged.
