Re: Downtime / Abwesenheit

I hate to abandon my fledgling Serinjah, but even though I love rping with you all lately I just haven't been in the mood for Illarion and I feel like I'm just going through the motions. I'll be back after a few days. Life is just busy and stressful.

The feast will be held as planned in one dwarven day. Guests from outside the tribe may attend, but if you come come as a friend.

Tribal News

22nd Ronas, 44
  • The Queen has heard our request for the right to wander the desert as free tribesmen and denied it. This is disheartening. Her wishes are granted. We will haunt Cadomyr no longer and continue our exodus until granted a home. We will not bow.

Re: People of Cadomyr

Obviously I can see why this matter was made public rather than directed at me personally. That was completely necessary. Here is your report:

Finley was taken by the Moreaus. I went to Albar to get her back. The Moreaus attacked. I killed them. It was an act of self defense.

People of Cadomyr

People of Cadomyr, It comes as no surprise that I return after two months journey to find that no end has come to the lies, slander, gossip and retaliations against myself, my former employer the lizard Fooser, and his noble House Stonescale. While perhaps I cannot put an end to the needless bloodsh...

Re: Raging Bull

The two weeks passed by ominously quiet but ultimately uneventful. The party, much smaller than when they left now arrived, ragged but not beat, back to the port of Rusted Axe in Gynk right on time. The crew of the Hefty Harlot, which Lono had paid to remain until he returned, had just given up wait...

Re: Raging Bull

As night fell the silhouettes of the remaining members of the party traveled over an abandoned path. Many of the horses were slaughtered or ran in fear during the battle leaving most of the survivors on foot. Lono felt the confused stares of the mercenaries as he limped along with Finley asleep in h...

Re: Raging Bull

It took Ukar and Rowtag and the other two Serinjah to pull Lono away from a fight that would have inevitably end in his death. A moment of clarity pulled Lono out of his murderous rage. They were running out of time. There is only so long you can rampage through the countryside before you're caught ...

As they arrived at the estate in Wincome, Lono raised his hand bringing the party to a halt. He placed his hand to his brow and scanned the wealthy plantation the main estate building lined with shrubs perfectly trimmed into ovals. Placing his index and middle finger onto his lips he let out a pierc...

Re: Raging Bull

Meanwhile as the riders were closing on their destination some few miles away, a herald baring a red pennant bolted across the fields towards an ominous black stone tower. As he arrived he was greeted by two sentries in matching red finery. Their shields bared the same crest as the pennant: a massiv...

Re: Raging Bull

Lono 's mouth dropped open in shock as he saw the suffering of the guardsmen as they gasped for their dying breaths. He narrowed his eyes on Indulala as he pulled a dagger from his belt. He looked to Jillian and Rowtag's faces. Is this the sort of thing they condone? He could tell by Jillian's wide-...

Re: Raging Bull

The party arrived moments before the sun came up on an unseasonably cold Siros morning. The secluded ranch was only a thin brown line on the horizon. Rowtag dispatched Ukar to skim the outskirts of the ranch and come back with reconnaissance. Ukar returned shortly after, drawing the layout of the pl...

Re: Raging Bull

As night fell again they trotted on a seldom used road flanked on both sides with swampy water and gnarled trees. The sounds of the insects and frogs formed a cacophonous symphony in the shadows. This would be the worst possible place to get ambushed, but so far Ukar was right; no one had been here ...

Re: Raging Bull

Lono's thoughts were full of dread and anguish. He knew he should be thinking about the mission, but his mind always turned back to Finley. Is she hurt or in trouble? Will she be there still when he arrives? And all these questions were answered by a secret thought from a deep, dark place: That he h...

Re: House Stonescale

A letter is delivered to Fooser. The handwriting is sloppy as though scribbled down in an angry rush, but the signature is familiar. Boss, I know that I'm abandoning you at the worst possible time and for that I can only apologize. Perhaps my absence will serve to calm down Galmair tempers. I never...

Re: House Stonescale

To the Esteemed Members of this Great House,

Today I was informed by Brawndara that I owe debt to Galmair because I work for Fooser and thus owe his past debt. I assume that soon all of us will become victims of this attempt at coercion.

Please Advise,
Lono

Real time

I haven't though out if there's any implications that would make this not work, but is it possible that we change the game from being 3:1 time to real time? I don't see why not and players are constantly using "dwarven days" anyhow because of ease of use.

Re: Lono's Tale

Part 5. The Dungeon I still remember the acrid stench of the dungeon, the smell of blood and bile and excreta. I can still feel the damp frigidity of the jagged stone walls on my back and the burn of the shackles that became uncomfortably familiar. At night when I sleep I still sometimes hear the s...
