Re: Character Creation - Base Stats

Estralis - Marry me I would say the proposal is more of a solution to a different problem, not a compramise. How many new player know what they want to do, or what to expect when they first join the game? Veteran players make character for specific circumstances, but new players make a character th...

Re: Character Creation - Base Stats

Thanks Achae I will look into signing up. And the various threads dont help in practice due to the mixed answers. In one you have people stateing Essence to be Magic Resistance and another Willpower ( Just an example ) I imagine a more comprehensible list will be released with the VBU. It just seem'...

Character Creation - Base Stats

It seems that only a select few know the strengths and weaknesses or most the base stats within game, ive read various other threads making this a fact. A suggestion:- Perhaps the base stats of a character can be altered by players 1 - 2 times after creation. This will allow a new player to learn wh...

Re: Anticipation

With a swift tug Aristeaus hefted the blade from its long standing home above the mantle, The dark blue cloak billowed about the swordsman's frame as he turned sharply upon his heel bringing the long dormant steel to bare before him, its cold length catching the remaining light from the setting sun ...

Re: Anticipation

Aristeaus had his arm resting about his daughter as they watched Quinasa board the ship bound for Gobaith, as she left sight his forced smile faltered briefly as he closed his eyes, the grip about Andriel tightening for but a moment as his breath steadied. " Momma will be fine " spoke the young girl...

"If you don't want to be jailed, don't play a criminal." By saying this, and continuing with this system, you're making roleplaying an interesting world difficult. If everyone is either a leader or a follower and there is no one to work against the grain like a bandit or a rebel, then there would b...

This thread really is quite pointless. If you post in the RPG Thread its to gain attention. And if people react to these threads its due to them finding out that there is some roleplay in motion.. aka a mini event or in the least someone to roleplay with. The majority of the player base from what i ...

Just do what Fooser did and make a law about concealing ones appearance within town as naughty, failure to reveal oneself sufferable by death.

Worked a charm.

So yeah, just pk the buggery out of them, the crimanals love it really, as they are forced to act like real criminals.

If you wish to be a mage, it should be require a special application, the same system as the special races. The reason you lose teachers is they get swamped by '' want-to-be '' students and can no longer continue with thier own roleplay. And if they do continue with thier own roleplay these days the...
