Not to mention to get some of those runes, you needed some badass stuff to sacrafice. That makes alot of work, a n00blet will not even know where to start to earn a rare item.

They are makable after sausage, rabbit dishes, sausage dishes, and salmon dishes, I would assume they are fairly good eats for that kind of difficulty. They are not really considered raw I guess.

I think the cap is a great guage, and positive reinforcement so you know your gaining skill! If you can't get this, it seems hopeless (unless you got ways to check). Thats my biggest concern, but also that you can have a never ending cycle of powergaming. Picture this- (Assuming above 20 smithing, a...

Of course it should take longer than brewing or baking. It is a more useful and as you know, a harder skill to gain in real life. I like how it is -,- I said that brewing is faster than the other 2 ways to gain cooking skill. The other crafts are about the same for me speed wise as baking/cooking. ...

@Lrmy Gathering crafts like mining and lumberjacking ect are real easy to cap in sure. Smithing, carpentery, tailoring, ect producing end-products go so slow each step that its nearly impossible to hit cap. Which is one of the reasons skillgaining in those are so hard. If the speed of every one of t...

Sadly richard, its about impossible to skill cap with production crafts, because every step is so slow. The time inbetween means you loose as many or more unless you get really luck and don't hit your thumb for about 5 times in a row, then maybe you got 24 mc out of 3000 max. :? Theres a few ways to...

Pell has got a point here, its notoriously hard to get onions and tomatoes without trespassing. I think seasonal planting is fine, but regional planting should only be for cash crops. After nearly half a decade (to put it exaggeratively) of playing this game, Trollsbane needs to be ruled by GM's. Only they got the authority and power to make it work. I'm sure they can find people to play some generic "town guard" auto-created chars.

In my opinion this is the sort of things (the silly races, as I call them) that kill the atmosphere in Illarion from medieval to WoW (a bunch of tweens running around trying to pwn n00bs and get uber-items). I experience more medieval atmosphere in real life, thats seems fairly ironic to me. The pla...

Actually Korm, Y should try to get Z or X behind one another, so that they have to move around eachother before attacking. You see? Creating 500 chars and recording their statistics for the perfect fighter is NOT what this game is about. What is observable isn't very good anyway, you can't even tell where your char gets hit, or where you hit other people or npc's. I always thought a "battle text" box (optional...
