I'd have to agree with Miraci on the XP Pro front. I recently got my computer's hard drive re-installed, and because of the trouble and inconvenience, I was offered XP Pro. It runs a lot smoother and seems to lack a lot of the niggling security issues as Home Ed.

And, if none of that works Arist and if you're computer is still under warranty, just wheel it along to your shop and make them look at it.

It works wonders! And it's free!

This is probably the best you can find.

Ultimate Illarion

There is a semi complete guide.

Quantum Illarion

Without a shadow of a doubt though, the best way to learn something, is to go in-game and discover it for yourself through roleplay with another.

I wish you luck.

Well, I took Quinasa's advice, and downloaded Ad-Aware. It discovered several mal-ware files hidden in my registry. Things run to be running smoother now.

Thanks to everyone.

I honestyly don't think this little spat between the three players (Arcia, Sylveria and Kasume) is necessary to take place on the board. It just seems like people trying to grasp and attempt to justify some questionable roleplay. By multiple accounts, Arcia, I think that Kasume is implying that you ...

By excluding the Bloodskulls from the north, you sentance the people of Troll's Bane to a bloody death! Let them have their wretched squallor hole..fill it in with boulders if need be, but don't unleash them on us, the unsuspecting citizens of Troll's Bane, Greenbriar and Silverbrand. Yours, A conce...

Well, I just have one last query. I know it'll probably go unanswered and I'll get scolded by some Brendan circa 2002 wannabe for not editing my post, but..feh. Anyway. I think I've located the source of my problem. Something has weasled it's way into my Registry. I had the intention to outright go ...

BUMP Anyway, I once again require help. Entirely frustrated by Microsoft's "customer support" and so forth, I decided to follow Lysu's advice and just format my computer. I did this, except upon re-installation there just seems to be a plethora of more and more problems. Upon connecting to...

Brendan searches through the old postings of the Bloodskulls until he finds a notice by Veralion.
Veralion once wrote:Before Honor comes Humiliation...
I suspect this phase of insane war mongering is the Bloodskull's period of humiliation.

The obvious answer would be to give it to a holy person. Perhaps Bishop Galim, as the artefact resides in Silverbrand?

If the name is Chaos-Legion, it won't be accepted. Take a look at the list of bad-names a few posts above and of course, hop over to the homepage and take a look at the name rules.

In the past haven't names derived from Roman been rejected? Granted, I think the fellow was trying some fairly well known emperor's name, but still... Anyway, it's not like we'll have lots of expectations for the character's behaviour, as said character from Morrowind wasn't exactly memorable or in ...

If the ancient artefact is found, will you simply hand it over to the demon? If so, I must protest. If you hand the artefact over to this demon and if it does what the demon claims it to do, then the creature will be in possession of an object of unimaginable power. I say, as soon as the item is fou...

My sides...they split.

Anyway, it's merely a series of graphics. It's my understanding that a GM can make any of the graphics that they want to appear. As long as it's coded in the client, it's doable, as far as I know.

Anyway.

Happy New Year.

These questions and their answers can be found elsewhere on the boards. Being a charitable and friendly soul, I'll answer you. There are about 100 to 150 active members at any one time, however, in-game there can be anywhere from between 0 to 50 users online. The average is usually between 10 and 20.

Blech. That staying across the river business can get annoying as hell. If your banned stay away from the town. Conceivably, the river bandits can be shot at and so forth by the guard etc and vice versa. Yet they don't. The banned people stay on their one side of the river and pass comments to the t...

It takes a little amount of time from when you're told of your acceptance, until your character is actually activated. Hang in there, and if you don't have your character activated within several days, best to send Arien your details.

Damien, while it's true that the town's name is Troll's Bane, I was always under the impression that it was named after the dwarf, Udan Trollbane. Regardless, Damien raises a valid point-the Trolls were here before us. In fact, it was possibly they who planted the forest to begin with. Leave them be...

If you want to spike the people who spend hours a day working on the game, developing it and of course developing a wonderful roleplay atmosphere, through the rectum, then go ahead with your real board...

When I awoke this morning and looked through my window, I noticed that many trees in Greenbriar were felled as well.

People should be warned, that if they continue to enter Greenbriar for such unsavoury purposes then I will be forced to forbid entry to our small village.

It's probably because you haven't encountered a situation involving demons or desert fights. Again, I repeat, those graphics are outdated and everyone has the same graphics.

If you're still convinced that there's something wrong with your graphics, why not post a screenshot.
