There was something planned but unfortunate the number of involved chars assisting Zaras was limited and they went to the wrong place in Caddy.
But 2 of 3 is already nice so keep it up there is more to come.

Char. are massivly forced to be a guild member. The type of armour should be written in the lookat. The lookats in the crafting windows should be updated soon. You shouldn't trust the weight too much atm. some of them don't fit to the armourclass yet.

Ask the smith or carpenter of your trust about the new weapons
Some of the new weapons already did get released with the last patch
