Re: Race languages / Rassensprachen

I agree with Hew. We don't need more that divides the players. I remember when we had all the different languages in game and never found a reason to like it or enjoy it as my characters were nearly always left out. From the end of those not included, it's not fun at all. Hew is right. We need to fi...

Re: Zwischenwelt / Intermediate world

On the surface, I like this idea, and even suggested it to the dev team a loooong time ago. But now I'm wondering why we need to force people to stay away from a battle. In essence, keep them from the action. It seems illogical. This thread began because someone is concerned about triple ghosting, a...

Re: Never fear the children are here!

Herblore Lesson for the Children I have been asked to grow some glowing mushrooms for planting in the Black Hole mine. I thought this would be a good lesson for the children of our town. We will be gathering during the Harvest Festival to plant seedlings. Please have the children who wish to partici...

Never fear the children are here!

While taking out a small class of children to learn about plants and herbs, we encountered a ratman and a slime at the front gate. Bre was working hard to keep the monsters at bay so I had the children take out their training weapons and help her. After some strenuous training, the children managed ...

Re: Quarterly Dice Event /Vierteljährliches Würfelevent

Come one come all! I have been asked to revive this event. Everyone is invited to attend. Please note all of the rules we follow in our dice game, which is held in Galmair's tavern. The first event will be held on the 17th of Olos 50. I hope to see many there with much coin! Thank you, ~Uhuru Prylor...

Re: Update 5th August 2016/Update 5. August 2016

There seems to be a difference in "the tool likes like it could break soon" notification. Once my character started to receive this message while cutting gemstones, she received one after each cut stone for a very long time. It seemed like one every 2 seconds for five minutes or more. It created a v...

Re: Was there a time when Illarion had more than 10 players

Teflon, in your second situation, if skill A is maxed, then it would no longer be raising MC and would be lowering MC while being worked. So skill B would probably be learned faster... if I am thinking this through properly. Lower MC usually means faster skilling. Try starting a new account with all...

Re: Was there a time when Illarion had more than 10 players

I'm quite tired, so excuse any rambling that may follow: Why punish people for actually playing the game? Why not reward people for role playing instead of punishing them for skilling? They are not punished. If you compare five hours of fighting with one hour of fighting and four hours of roleplay,...

Re: Response to Dagbladden Article

Dagbladden and Reporter, I am waiting on a response. Why was the wrong story printed and where is the retraction of the lies. This had best come soon or I will try to take further steps to ensure you at least give a semblance of an attempt to verify the facts in your stories in the future. Thank you...

Re: New Flat Constructions

I will work on donating the rest of the needed cloth. Sister, what have you done? Drape each room in black cloth, ceiling to floor and all around?

I have what is needed for yellow, red, and blue on hand, that will be easy. The black cloth will take a few days.

Yes, but it is not the NPC, it is the "talking spring"... you must double click on the spring. It might be easier to ask someone in game to show you.

Re: Depots at Primary Harbors

Interesting where your mind went and mine goes to completely a different place, naturally! The profit in resources isn't in selling them, but in working them and then selling the results. Like digging sand, making glass products, and selling the products... etc. Farming fruit at the cado harbour, ma...

Re: Depots at Primary Harbors

Do you see these depots being tied to their respective towns or not? I ask because some other proposals have asked for depots that have no tie in to other realm's depots.... stand alone if you will. So if a depot in Galmair harbor links to a depot in Galmair town, I am not sure how I would feel abou...

Re: Fourth Faction

With that in mind, finding a location would be difficult. Unless your intention is to encourage everyone to move to the fourth faction? Interesting idea. What tools do you see residing in such a faction, keeping in mind that the dev team likes to keep everything balanced. Thanks That would be the tricky part, I'm not sure. Re: [Race Guild] Dwarves of Galmair

EDIT: Orc guild would need a depot with only one slot, maybe two (to put there one-two bags, but two would be many) to keep there meats, furs, leathers, vegatables and prepared dishes to not visit every time Nectie. Rest items would be kept in Nectie. I kind of like the idea of small chests in the ...

Re: [Race Guild] Dwarves of Galmair

Yes, Tialdin did plan something like that once. But I do not understand... if they are to live and work inside Galmair, why they must have their own workroom. Why not just use the town facilities that are already available? Rent your guild hall for meetings and/living in. And work in and around the ...

Re: Player Governments/ Evil town

Please get off the talk of gems. This isn't about that. Sorry to be this direct -- but this isn't about the Bearers of Fire either. I could write a screed about the Bearers or how the Queen of Cadomyr has been roleplayed as well, but that would be personal. I realize I have problems with how some p...

Re: New types of punishments

Partial/light ban: In addition to the total town ban, a limitation of the ban to some areas of a town instead of the whole town. In Galmair's case, these Galmairan chars could only enter the underground of Galmair via a secret entrance, which only they could use. This is a grand idea. All in all, t...

Re: Player Governments/ Evil town

I believe we may have different perspectives. Our player base is low, in European times it is a bit bigger, in American prime time it is even lower. If I log in the player numbers are more or less the same in the 3 towns, often there are in Cadomyr and Runewick more chars online as in Galmair. But ...

Re: Review of Chancellor System

I do think that this would possibly be better received from the chancellors if the Don's opinion or guidelines were received more often. Receiving it after the fact can be a little frustrating. For instance, once they have decided on how to proceed with a punishment, then the Don over-ruling the who...
