Re: Archery

Strange then..i find the archery to work fine for my character :? True he had not shot an arrow in a long time untill recently ,yet he fells many beasties just fine. If he stands still for a while i get rivited to the spot untill i deselect my target (that needs fixing for sure) but the way around ...

Re: Armour for newbs

I am sure there is something wrong. - Gurk has skill lvl 89 med armour - He wears lvl 70 salkmarian armour and lvl 70 gynk helmet (leggings, boots and gloves not available at that level.) - I have been training him against Gynkese widows, spider queens, bone ghosts, zombie giants, red skeletons and ...

Re: level up from monsters

There is no good reason for us not to be told how each monster attacks. Yes the new graphics are better, but they still don't clearly show the manner of attack. However, our characters can see clearly what is used against them. They would know if they were being punched, stabbed, slashed or smashed...

Re: level up from monsters

That will be awesome Jupiter, well worth the wait. Meph how are you supposed to find out yourself? Apart from monitoring what damage you take (which is hit and miss and hard to determine) There is no way of knowing what kind of attack element each NPC uses. The ones we know Spiders bite with pierce ...

Re: level up from monsters

Just wondering because unlike Warriors and thiefs in the race foes you cant see weapons held by skeletons and zombies...

Armour for newbs

I got a noob character into med armour. What armours are at level 0 for new folks. I know you rather not tell us but its hard enough getting set up as it is, now we got to purchase random armours for like 20-60silver gambling that they are right class and skill level. Need med helmet, gloves, boots a...

Re: Quest Feedback

I loved it. Really brought players together. You actually needed a small army to win those 2 skirmishes that made it so good. Perhaps a 3rd wave would of been the icing on the cake, like attacking Cadomyr palace? Perhaps an appearance in the future as Zaras would be cool! As for now its good to keep...

The HP on livestock could be lowered. After all you don't slit a pigs throat three times lol.

Even when fighting mummies Gurk can have a flurry of misses. It does get annoying.

Now dodge is gone he seems to get hit more also.

I have a few newish characters, male lizard Brudaar and Female Minx, They are both in Galmair but I may move Minx to Runewick.

Brudaar is an ex pirate bit of a rogue and Minx is a learning Alchemist.

Options there if you like any of them.

Edited my post ^^ Yh I agree with you Meph buddy, I just need to hear from the GMs how much skills are worth before I make a solid case. Until then I could be bitching about nothing. Would it be possible to boost all the players by making skills mean more in battle and if monsters become too weak for the real tough guys, then make the suitable monsters tougher?

Im not alone in thinking skills should at least matter 50%, a lot of players from before the VBU feel disappointed in their characters performances after years of training.
