Re: Poll: High Score // Umfrage: Bestenlisten
Kinda seems like everyone wants the same thing? Scores attract players, keeping people busy with things to do when there is no rp. I think certain people will always remain competetive and pg instead of rping when rp then finally does come, but I believe most of them will finally succumb to the magi...

Gems in ammo? Do stones count too? Like.. That whole meme "Yo dawg, I heard you like stones. So I put stones in your stones." Because that'd be a funny memento to keep.

Re: The State of Illarion from a crotchety old player. Again
The skill idea would never work due to how people are, though I see where you're coming from with that idea. I really agree with the map being too big, it's really difficult to find people at most times which does result in most people skilling in each their corner of the map. Enclosing the map to o...

Re: Training areas?
Start in runewick on neutral monsters like pigs, sheep. (though running around like an idiot chasing them and murdering them on peoples crops near the farming field is kinda awkward) Fighting isn't really as easy to solo train as it used to be, you're better off doing it in a group for several techn...

Re: Information on socketing magical gems
weapons & armors are "tools" too... How does this contribute to the topic in any way? We were on the topic of crafting tools. Other than this, it was also obvious I was talking about crafting tools, as people has and will refer to the armors and weapons, as armors and weapons. If you ...

I still think making magic gems in tools reduce the time it takes to craft things would be awesome. :3

Actually lowering crafting time, for any level crafter, would be a great bonus ^_^ Cakes take forever to make even at a high level, so Im sure its the same for other crafts as well.

Good luck running that one past the archmage. "It's not fair! They won't let us use their stuff! Can't you passive aggressively ban all their citizens from our town?! There will be times when Runewick will be unavailable to other factions, but now there is no reason not to grant them access, e...

Re: Traveling merchants
Other thing about merchants is that you can not always access all towns. Some ban non citizen from entering for some reason. Though perhaps this is on purpose so that merchants have to choose a town? :S (A bit unfair for runewick citizen though, people come from other towns and use their resources a...

If you bought normal wine, not elven or anything, it should work. I did it a while ago, with a goblet of wine I bought from the barkeeper, and he accepted it when I just said "quest" as a keyword.

That's why I gave up on it after realizing it was only the ones named "mummy" that gave you kills. Waiting for that patch.Karl wrote:So one in fifty?Qeewee wrote:Kill the one named simply "mummy". Only those count until the next patch.

Does that count only the damage though? Or does it count the speed as well, and even the skill so that it counts the dps of either weapon?

The one with the most dps, isn't it? Or does it ignore how slow a mace is, and choose that over a dagger, even if a dagger would deal more dps?

Re: Does dual handing work?
Wait what.. You cant like.. use two swords anymore..? Or is it just if its different weapons, like in the mace and sword example?
Because you can equip two swords and attack, but I suppose that might just do the damage of one then?? (thats confusing if thats the case)

So while we´re on the topic of ranks: I assume the names of ranks are different in Galmair and Runewick? Novice or something like that in Runewick isn't it, what kind of system do they follow if Cadomyr follows a noble system?

Bad guy is a wide definiton isn't it? Doesn't really define anyone at all. There's the kind that struggles for money no matter the cost. Either manipulative and friendly, using smarts to get what they want. Or perhaps the ones who mug unarmed people on the road, not caring about the lives of the peo...

Pans and fires
I seem to be having difficulties figuring out how cooking works with the new illa. I assumed pans would work with fires like cooking spoons used to, but got disappointed. A static fire I used wouldn't work, and when trying to lit a fire like I used to be able to, beneath a cauldron, I couldnt even m...
