Nice current uses of the (broken, yes) poison/harmful mechanics in potions. 1) Create a potion that appears to do something good (like healing) while also doing something bad. Not so easy to put into practical use. 2) Carry a few healing potions with a couple severe damaging/poisoning potions mixed ...

You don't need a language potion.

But they'd sure be helpful to you now.

For what little RP we had, thanks to Merung Harbes.

In the specialty language books that I've read, I didn't see any alerts for language. Are you reading scrolls at the druid house? Those require you to have taken the druid drink before you can learn from them.

RPing with characters like Stephen Rothman, having W.E. and Nalzaxx roaming about the place... learning magic in the old system, etc. Sigh... it did hook me 5 years ago, after all. Been periodically returning ever since. Edit: Fooser! Onionball! Disputes about who owned whose tail! And trying to exp...

Encounter with Alli Zelos was good. I actually wanted to meet her for a while now. Unfortunately it was cut short due to r/l events, causing Alvis to sound rather less-than-friendly. Well, heheh... I guess he does that from time to time anyways.

Also, I do believe it takes longer to recover if you actually go on to the "Urgent" stage. As I hear it, stopping at the "Cannot Concentrate" will allow you to recover faster than if you continued on until the utmost end.
