Very busy. Not sure when I'll be back. For those involved in current quest events, just continue on without me.

Re: Invasion - Commands and Reports / Befehle und Berichte

~ A blood spattered note is left outside of Cadomyr. ~

Poor little Eraisuithiel

The mortals couldn't care

No matter how she screamed and cried

Her Caine was never there!

Does she live or has she died?

I suppose we'll never know...

Such a shame her lover lied

Another skull on the row.

Re: Processor spikes / Lag

Try changing these settings on your graphics card (together or separately or both): 1) Gaming performance/Standard 3D settings: performance instead of quality 2) Anti-aliasing: use lowest quality anti-aliasing settings instead of using application settings 3) If those don't affect the spike, lower t...

Re: Town leaders get involved or get Lost

So that we have the chaos again as in Troll's Bane? I can't fathom why you look back on the times of Trollsbane being a bad thing. We had more players and it was tons of fun. Logging in was a real treat. Pure nostalgia. I'm sure the game masters had good intentions when they changed things, if not ...

Re: Whose RP did you like today?

Forgot to mention it, but I enjoyed the 'A glorious endeavour' quest that took place a few days ago. Interesting story, finer details like the description of the the stone-dwarf-face-slab and ingenuity of how it was opened was pretty cool. Looking forward to more adventures with Theophan von Lyr.

Re: Dastardly deeds

The undead lord stood leaning with the aid of his staff in the corner of the dimly lit chamber, gazing through his cataracts at the elfess he had imprisoned there. During these intervals that the sadistic red mage would find respite from carrying out unspeakable tests on their subject, the flickeri...

Dastardly deeds

~ Attaching a parchment to its leg, the undead Lord Gray sets off his raven, sir Fliegenshriek, off in search of the one he calls his 'equal' ~

Heed my call, he who is equal but still calls me king... There is work to be done!

I got frighted. Not a single idea regarding the topic! get involved in indie communities and show off your work... Indiedb, gamejolt etc etc ^^^^ I checked Gamejolt - Illarion isn't listed on it. Re: Illarion passes away

If the general consensus is that this game is flat lining, then a dedicated effort needs to be made by the people in charge to entertain people and convince them to stay. I've seen it written a dozen times that it is up to the players to keep this game alive and entertaining but, if the players are ...

March of the diamonds

A hooded bone-servant approaches Gray by the altar of Bjolmur and relays the information of the mortals warning each other of his sighting in the Necktie tavern. Retracting each bony finger of his left open-palm to crack each knuckle in succession, the undead lord snaps shut his decaying teeth. "I s...

Re: Evil intentions

It was from the comfortable peak of Pauldron mountain and through an ice cold glare viewed by his bloodshot, cataract spoiled eyes that the monster known as Gray cast hasty judgment over the ever perilous world of Illarion. "Illarion is dying... Praise be, the prophecy proclaimed it so!" Drawing the...

Dear players, I am not speaking from some butt-hurt angle because, in truth, I played this game long enough to grow a thick skin and accept things as they are. Don't forget spacebar - better/quicker for opening doors and using stuff (gathering eggs etc etc) than double left click.
A score of zero isn't enough to pick an egg off the ground
That gave me a chuckle.

I would kindly request to stay on on topic. Sorry about that. I really like the proposal, it saves people wasting time skilling. @ Brightrim - This will be my last response about it. Re: NPC to check MC

Which seems mostly a response to "villains" of late just relying on the engine to try and ghost you... The villains destroyed the Galmair mine tunnel, damaged the Malachite mine entry, left cursed blood and gut pentagrams everywhere, summoned undead for the heroes to kill (for a bit of fun) and, cu...

Do bare in mind how quickly a maxed mage can cast (observe Djironnyma casting) and the strength of each blast with the new update. Now imagine chars like Jefferson have that power (only a matter of time).

Re: Update November 2017

So, after doing some tests of my own, it does seem that magic is a little OP. Wand magic used to be very weak, now its very powerful. Going from one extreme to the next, seems like. Armours no longer add protection against wand magic! By 'add protection', do you mean no protection at all? (As in arm...

As the bubbling moat of molten lava danced ferociously around the inner dwellings of the nameless mountains, creating a warning plume of billowing smoke, Lord Gray leaned his aching bones against Bjolmur's altar. Standing under the scorching glare of Dragorog, in his unholy temple, Gray bowed his undead head low to the master of the evil flame. "Take away what they hold dear."

It was the strained smile on what was left of Gray's rotting lips that would reveal his amusement, on what was otherwise a sagging sack of decaying flesh upon his face. Sitting on the rising stack of skulls he declared as his throne, Moshran's commands echoed in the abomination's thoughts like a wil...
