The Credii are a mystic sect of Eldan. They believe in two realms, one created by Eldan and other not. The realm we exist in currently is devoid of Eldan aside from in the spirits in living things. Their teachings are esoteric and little knowledge on the history of their beliefs and their deeper theology are unknown. Their habits may seem odd to the outside observer.

To spread our faith, promote the worship of Eldan and create a sense of goodwill for those who do not believe in our faith.

The Credii emerged in Gynk from a man named Basilacius The Prophet. From him, the Credii started and many Expleti have studied their faith through experience and added to the whole Universal Truth.
[edit] 3 Beliefs
[edit] 3.1 Overview of Faith
We believe in two worlds. One spawned from God and the other from his lack. A one way stream from the latter, us humans only enter His realm when detached from this realm. We are an ascetic sect, our monks follow strict vows.
We do not believe in procreation, murder, hunger, thirst, and all bonds that link us to this realm. We do with only what we can, we will all do with nothing. Our mission in this realm is to ascend to God's and make this realm more tolerable for those who do not believe.
Our Faith consists of two, Expleti and Secti. All Expleti are our monks, following the tenets of our faith to the best of our abilities, we devote our life to the cause of enlightenment. The Secti are believers who are training to be Expleti or those who just wish to follow without such strict tenets.
A follower will never procreate. Expleti are not to touch the opposite sex. Expleti will not make eye contact with anyone else but other Expleti. We will not be responsible for more souls bound by flesh. Women who have given birth are not allowed to join the Expleti. If an Expleti is found to have broken these, immediate dismissal will follow. Expleti will go without food as long as they can, they will go without sleep. They will go without any of the false comforts given to us by this realm. We are not to eat flesh, we are not to kill, we shall focus on detaching ourselves from this realm.
[edit] 3.2 Tenets
Basic Tenets consist of no physical contact between Expleti and non-Expleti, this has been learned from experience of observers. It is obvious that they are ascetic, but to what extent is not know. Some have been seen constantly famished, others rather healthy, so a consistency cannot be found. They do not show their face, or if so, their eyes remain hidden. Reasons for this are not known and many find them to be conspicuous because of this.

Basic structure consists of three rankings: The Secti, Novices, and Expleti.
[edit] 4.1 Secti
Are basic followers, they are not held strictly to tenets. Secti may or may not be Expleti in training, and just believe in the faith without such strict obediences. Many speculate there beliefs in rebirth to be a reason for the Secti and have great faith in the followers in other lifes, this has not yet been confirmed. Many Secti are seen in pairs, possibly for some rite of passage.

Novices are Expleti in training who have shown great faith and endurance. They understand the religion and have been taught many things, however, they are not considered Expleti and still looked upon with the name "Son".

Expleti are monks, devouts dedicated to the cause of the Credii who follow their tenets strictly. Their purpose is to ascend to Eldan's realm. They connect with their God through asceticism and rituals that are not well known to the Secti or observers. Expleti see each other as "Brothers", even the female Expleti. The Secti and Novices address the Expleti as "Father".

In year 22, Caecilianus and Alabus left Gynk in order to spread word of their faith and to recruit new followers. They have not made much of a big footprint yet and their faith is still growing.
