The Kingdom of Silverbrand is the home of the most dwarves of Gobaith. In it's halls deep under the earth, which are dug through the whole Throne of Irmorom, every dwarf findes his place.

[edit] 1.1 Location
The Kingdom of Silverbrand is situated in the northwest of Troll's Bane, in the mountains called The Throne of Irmorom. All in all the kingdom contains the whole Throne of Irmorom, above and under the earth till the borders of the Grey Rose, including the underground town of Silverbrand and the dragon cave ruins.
[edit] 1.2 Resources and Crafts
The natural resources of the kingdom are huge deposits of coal aswell as iron ore and gold, few and far gems and copper ore, too. Certainly the kingdom has also owned fields, animals and forests.
Since the foundation of the kingdom, the citizens improved their smithing skills from year to year and now, Silverbrand has the best mastersmiths of Gobaith, but the other crafts such as carpenter or brewer should not be underrated aswell.
[edit] 1.3 Administration
The form of government in Silverbrand is a monarchy. The king's word is law, but he wrote down some common rules in the law code and named a judge as guard of the law, so that he has not to deal with every incident in his kingdom. There are some more positions in Silverbrand:
- The High Council:
- King: All power goes out from the king. He is the legislative, speaking and carrying out power. He has to deliver the right these tasks partially to assistant.
- Viceroy: He is the deputy of the king.
- Leader of the Temple: The leader of the temple, mostly the highpriest of Irmorom, represant the cleric of the kingdom and advises the king.
- The appointees:
- Judge: He is the law's guard. The judge has to hunt and punish criminals.
- Secretary: The Secretary has the task to propagate the king's annoucments.
- Ambassador: He represents the kingdom to the world outside. His task is to close indentures and to speak with the leaders of the other nations.
- Mine caretaker: The mine caretaker administrates the mining licenses.
- Town guards: They have the rights to imprison suspects.
