Cooking and Baking

This crafting skill comprises actually four different types of crafting: Cooking, Baking, Brewing and Roasting.

[edit] 1 Cooking
The cook needs a Cooking Spoon and a campfire. Of course one needs the right "ingredients" (like pork, onion etc), but also a Bucket of Water. Additionally for most dishes either a Soup Bowl or a plate is required.
Having placed all "ingredients" at the belt, the cooking spoon in your hands and standing in front of a campfire, you can start cooking. Simply "use" the cooking spoon to make the menu pop up, choose either soup bowl or plate and then the desired dish.
If you get interrupted or if you don't have all ingredients, there is a not finished product left (e.g. "Sausage 50%"). You can continue the work by using the cooking spoon with the not finished product.
[edit] 2 Baking
The baker needs a peel and a Baking House. Do NOT mistake it for the Smoke Oven! Of course one also needs the right "ingredients" (like dough, see below how to make it).
Having placed all "ingredients" at the belt, the peel in your hands and standing in front of a baking house, you can start baking. Simply "use" the peel to make the menu pop up and choose the desired dish.
If you get interrupted or if you don't have all ingredients, there is a not finished product left (e.g. "Bread 50%"). You can continue the work by using the peel with the not finished product.

Dough is made out of flour which is made out of grain.
[edit] 3.1 Grain to Flour
One needs a Wooden Shovel, a millstone and grain. Having placed the grain at your belt, the wooden shovel in your hands and standing in front of a millstone, simply "use" the millstone to start milling the grain. See also Farming.

One needs a Rolling Pin, a Baking House, at least one Bucket of Water and flour. Having placed the bucket of water and the flour at your belt, the rolling pin in your hands and standing in front of a baking house, simply "use" the baking house to start making dough.
[edit] 4 Brewing
Brewing is the art of making alcoholic drinks. To do this job, the brewer needs a Wine Barrel and a Cooking Spoon. Furthermore, they also need "ingredients" (fruits for example), a Grey Bottle and a Bucket of Water.
The needed skill for brewing is "Cooking and Baking", so that most brewers are cooks or bakers too. The higher the skill, the fuller your bottles and the more drinks you are able to make.
The following drinks can be made depending on the brewer's skill:
- beer
- cider
- mead
- wine
Cider or Green Bottle The easiest drink to make, it just requires apples. Once bottled, it can be poured into goblets to drink.
Beer or Black Bottle A wonderful drink requiring Hops and Grain to make. It is usually only served in Beer Mugs.
Wine or Red Bottle The next hardest drink to make, it requires Grapes to make. It is only served in goblets.
Mead or Orange Bottle The hardest drink to make, requires Honeycombs. This drink is usually only served in goblets.
[edit] 5 Roasting
Ham is created through roasting raw pork. To make Ham, you will need to face a Smoke Oven and have the pork in your belt. Then 'use' the pork 'with' the Smoke Oven. Then wait a second and do this again. The pork will then 'Roast' into Ham. Ham can be eaten.
Smoked fish is also created from roasting fish.
Roasting Ham, and fish requires no tools or skill to do, however it will increase your Cooking and Baking skill over time.
