The following categories shall help you to find articles you can contribute to or that need a change. Remove the links to the articles if you think the necessary actions were done.
Please if possible name the articles on both german and english sites!

These articles require your contribution. Please help the community by updating the articles. Please add a reason when you add an article. Examples:

  • The Article is too short and does not cover the whole range of the subject.
  • The article needs an overhaul in terms of style, grammar, spelling or layout.
  • The information in the article is outdated or simply wrong (maybe vandalism).
  • The article is not linked properly or does not fit in the structure of Illapedia.

  • Silverbrand/de - the first generation and foundation of the city need expansion
  • Newbies - could use some expansion as well as polishing
  • Attributes - bad style, "This attribute is primarily a gauge of how..."
  • Smithing - bad layout, chaotic use of pics
  • Smithing/de - no layout at all
  • For the translation of Building Rules I just copied the ones on the website. But they seem to differ in the price lists. --Pharse 01:15, 22 October 2007 (CEST)

  • Roleplaying Guide has good (e.g. on thievery) sections, but contains quite a lot of very specific stuff - one be a good roleplayer without spamming others with a prewritten description of the colour of one's char's hat
  • FAQ/de, FAQ - I've started them by copy&paste and adding some questions, but this article needs alot of contribution. Also, the answers have to be kept short. English part is neither imported nor translated.

Some content or information within these articles is disputed; a discussion is necessary.

  • Elgolas - See Bell's comments in the dicussion for why this article is so dubious.

The following articles are not translated or the translations do not match. Please name the language that needs a modification.

  • Smithing/de - German (english version not that good, too)
  • Gem_Cutting/de - German (english version not that good, too)
  • Carpentry/de - German
  • All articles about the cities and ruins (all pages linked from here) - English (contact Damien before translation here)

For the following articles, no content is written down. Whoever is able to, should start to write down what he knows for the content might be interesting for many readers.

  • The Illapedia should replace all the different locations with background and game information, so everything has to be imported and merged into the Wiki. Quite a lot was already copied & pasted, but some is missing yet. Let's get an overview here:
  1. Moonsilver (german and english): The import of all facts and background infos is quite complete now, only some introduction texts, stories and the "Crafts" section there are unused. -Miklorius 17:42, 23 November 2007 (CET)
  2. Illarion.org Homepage: The most background there is from Moonsilver; I guess that only the chronicle is original. But there is a lot of (outdated?) game info, too. -Miklorius 21:21, 5 November 2007 (CET)
  3. Background forums: Everything from Illarion.org background forum is now imported into Illapedia (english versions of the town descriptions not yet available)! -Miklorius 15:41, 25 November 2007 (CET)

  • An article about the game's rotting cycle (see. e.g. here)

[edit] 5 Admin interventions needed

For articles that are either obsolete or pure spam and should be deleted go to Template:Delete. Anything that requires an action which can only be done by an admin should be discussed on the article's talk page if it is because the page is protected. All other actions can be listed here. Please add a reason and what shall be done!

  • MediaWiki:Common.css - We could use a default layout for tables, let's call it "illatable". Orientating on wikipedia's prettytable is recommended. The CSS can only be edited by an admin.
  • All "Guide - [...]" pages are obsolete!
  • Put in a Illapedia logo ("$wgLogo")
  • Illapedia could use a different skin than the default one in order to fit the (new) homepage or a general fantasy enviroment
  • The following articles, templates or categories are considered unnecessary by user:Estralis_Seborian. Discuss!:
    • Category:Urgent_translation: Two entries. Administrative, non-content orientated category. Requests for translations are currently handeled by naming the articles on this page. Better idea: An infobox that encourages editors to translate untranslated articles, see: Template:Translation.
    • Category:Disambiguation: One entry. Administrative, non-content orientated category.
    • Category:Modified_templates: One entry. Administrative, non-content orientated category.
    • Template:Delete: Requests for deletion are currently handeled by naming the articles on this page. Boxes without content don't add anything to an article
  • One request: When I am not logged in, the default setting in the preferences is to auto-number headings. This looks "not so good" and is not standard for e.g. wikipedia. The default setting should be not to auto-number the headings. --Estralis Seborian 12:16, 15 May 2008 (CEST)
