Northern Woods

This is a vast region of forest north of the Three Finger Bay and the Fairy's Tears river, west of the Copper Mountains and southeast of the Northmark. The southeastern part of the forest near the castle Grey Refuge belongs to the territory of the Grey Orders and includes their cemetery.

Along the southern coast road, you will encounter swamps and further west at the coast lies the Old Lighthouse. In the southern center of the Northern Woods lies Falkner's Hain with a shrine of Ushara, a sacred place of ancient origins. Along the western mountain road heading north, you will encounter mountain passes to an old temple and then the northern mine at the foothills of the Copper Mountains. It is said that in the northern part of the forest, there is a goblin settlement and some kind of witch house.

This area is filled with conifer, cachydern, palm, apple and cherry trees. Many herbs are rumored to grow here, too.

• Wolves are said to roam here in large groups to the east, center and north
• Gnolls, bandits and goblins roam along the north
• Mosquitos infest the swamps by the bay
