There are some german terms which IMO need some kind of official translation by e.g. Damien. Here are the terms with their actual translations:

• Albarisches Reich => Albarian Empire

Empire steht für mich eher für ein Kaiserreich. So ist die Übersetzung von Kaiser Emperor oder Imperator. Das sollte im Titel des höchsten Würdenträgers eines Kaiserreiches auch aufgefasst werden, so wie es in der Historie für deutsche Kaiser in der Übersetzung ins Englishe gemacht wird (Emperor Otto the Great). Ein Großkönig, König aller Könige, ist ein Kaiser/Imperator. --Lennier 23:26, 30 May 2008 (CEST)

So, what's your idea - "Albarian Realm"? And do you suggest to translate "Großkönig" with Emperor? I think Damien was thinking of a difference between albarian "Großkönig" and salkamaerian "Imperator". -Miklorius 14:42, 31 May 2008 (CEST)

• Fürst => Prince

Fürst => Prince klingt meiner Meinung nach dumm. Zurückübersetzt eher nach einem erblichen Thronfolger (eines Königs). Sovereign [www.dict.leo.org] geht auch und ist die traditionelle Übersetzung in Illarion gewesen (Sovereign Sirius Fellfuss als Fürst der Grauen Rose). --Lennier 23:26, 30 May 2008 (CEST)

I agree with Miklorius to use sovereign. Prince would be translated by a German (no offence) as in "To entertain someone like a prince" -- Mna Na H'Ereann  talk   08:13, 11 June 2008 (CEST)

• Grafschaft => shire
• Großkönig => Great King

Damien said it could be also High King, but I would stay with Great King to have a difference to Hochkönig. All the other translations seem okay for him. -Miklorius 21:07, 10 June 2008 (CEST)

• Hexerkönig [Mordak Al'Kharud] => Witch King
• Hochkönig=> High King
• Inselmeer => Island Sea
• Siebenreich => ? (actually untranslated)
• Splittermeer => Shard Sea

"a herb" vs "an herb" - the silent "H" always takes the article "an" rather than "a" - an hour, an honorable peace, an honest man... see A vs An from the Purdue Online Writing Lab Spiderwing 15:50, 7 February 2008 (CET)

The "h" in "herb" is not unsounded (pronounciation ist "herb", not "'erb" like "'onest"), so IMO "a herb" is correct. -Miklorius 16:16, 7 February 2008 (CET)

On both official maps of Gobaith it is called "cemetery", so I would use this word (AFAIK both words mean exactly the same). -Miklorius 21:07, 19 November 2007 (CET)

• Color should be colour.
• Gray should be grey (when it is used as a colour, names don't count).
• Harbor should be harbour.
• Topas should be topaz.
• Trolls Bane and Trollsbane should be Troll's Bane.

Color, gray and harbor are correct american english and thus, no mistakes. But I prefer british english, too. --Estralis Seborian 10:24, 10 June 2008 (CEST)
