The island Gobaith is a tiny island in the rough ocean, seperated from the main land by the Street of Hope. Its climate can best be described as maritime and temperate. Large parts of it are covered by coniferous forests, foothills and cleft mountains can be found in the heartland. The northern region is cowered by the inhospitable Kumdah Desert. In the mountains and at other places, many natural caves and caverns house beasts and abominations as well as evidence for a long forgotten past of the island, long before the first settlers arrived.
