[edit] 1 Prayed to for

  • Immortality
  • Healing of the ill and diseased
  • Protection from the dead
  • To bring rest to the undead
  • Help for necromancers

[edit] 2 Personality

Cherga is strictly neutral. She is said to be dignified and proud, rarely does she show emotion. For the most, she is peaceful, though forever serious and stern. It is simple, you would not like to have her as an enemy, for her rage leaves her merciless.

[edit] 3 Figure

Cherga appears as a black dressed, dark or grey haired, ageless woman with grey skin colour or as an old, poorly dressed witch or gypsy that foretells the future. Often, she is feared as the bringer of doom and unwelcomed news.

[edit] 4 Likes/dislikes

Cherga likes balance and justice. She does not seem to care much about the living.

[edit] 5 Followers

There are not many followers of Cherga. She is the one who collects the dead souls and brings them to the realms they belong to. Some people pray to her to give them forbidden knowledge and power over the undead, some (good) people to give eternal rest to the restless, others to use the undead for a purpose. Many necromancers are followers of Cherga, but many fortune tellers too. Cherga does not care what the mortals do with the knowledge, and most of this knowledge has a high price.

Followers of Cherga believe that when they die, they can choose to live on as a lich or skeleton or serve Cherga in helping to direct the souls of the dead to their destination places, until they themselves will be reborn to be allowed to start a new life. Most people who follow Cherga simply want to gain immortality.
