Calendar
From Illapedia
The world of Illarion has four seasons, each with four months, all in all sixteen months a year. The origin of this calendar is unknown, although the Elves had influence on the new year's day.

[edit] 2 Calculation of times
All dates refer to the year the sorcerer Mordak Al'Kharud was defeated. His death more than 20 years ago marks the beginning of a new calculation of times which was introduced at least in Albar, Gynk and Salkamar. Which method of counting was used before is not known, it is also unclear if other races use different calculations or calendars, except the dwarven calculation:
One dwarven week consists of three regular week, the same is valid for the dwarven month and the dwarven year. These seem to be additional measuring units and no replacement for the usual calendar described above.
[edit] 2.1 Game information
Because in the game the time runs around three times faster than in real life, the dwarven calculation is used to easily describe period of times without the need to convert the dates. One dwarven week ingame for example is similar to one real life week.
There is also an official time converter, but there is a difference between the IG time and the time converter at the moment! And according to the world background, Mas had originally six days, but it was and is calculated technically with five days only.
